The main 3 (Lucia, Hanon, and Rina) always had the longest and I mean LONGEST transformation sequence not in just the series but the whole magical girl genre. I swear like their transformations all together was 6-8 minutes long ffs. I remember watching an episode and half of it was those 3 transforming jeez

@@SailorOjamajo Coming from the future, and it's still not that good, but I think it's finally picking up. The Yaoi scene caught me off guard. I can't remember if Gaito was this touchy with Kaito. I think he was touchy too? I don't like how Luchia is like "You need to marry a merman for the sake of the ocean!" Like, um did you forget your own story? I know she loves her daughter, but did something happened that made Luchia not introduce Lukia's betrothed? It does seem Lukia did forget her childhood as a mermaid, so maybe they had met, but the fiance is just a paper cutout. I think he stopped pursuing her after he realized she's in love with the Kaito fanboy? It's good he knew to take a no for an answer, but what's the point of setting up this love triangle? Especially this could have been an interesting plot about him trying to have her regain her memories of them being kids.

In the group transformation of pure (and pure in general) you can really tell the show got a proper budget. Everything looks much cleaner and the movement is so beautifully fluid. And finally they stopped reusing the same movements over and over for the protagonist trio.

Istg, transformations in anime as a kid was magical and mesmerizing. Now this just feel nostalgic. +Sailor moon, PPG Z and Winx club 🥺💓

I don't like how the others didn't get a full transformation like green blue and pink
