Turkey hunting a hillside turkeys getting fired up in a distance, man o man that get you fired up. Best of friends got a game plan work this country side just sitting here watching you guys I'm forgetting I'm not there.its so real to watch it all go down. Then the cigar time and the memories to talk about. Thanks Dave for another fine hunt for the wild turkey's of New Mexico.

If that don’t light ya fire..... ya woods wet! That’s words to well define a gobbling turkey and that cigar sit down session and speaks of his father and memories priceless! Loving the videos as all I do know is haul cattle from southeast out west and keeps me away in the spring but it did allow me my very first Osceola turkey hunt in which lasted all of about 15 min of day light and killed me a fine strutted out of a group and have him in my den to keep that memory!

Been looking forward to the NM series, and was definitely worth the wait! Being from NM this is the best depiction of how our turkey hunts are. Congrats on another beautiful merriam.

It made this episode better that you didn’t get the shot on camera. This represents what it’s really like. I’ve had so many hunts with my brother and friends where one of us hangs back and keeps the bird gobbling while the other closes the distance. And the best part is that story right after. That fresh one. And sleazy can sure tell it!

We have been waiting on Sleazy !! That was a great hunt in some brushy country. Looks different from the NM we know... I don't know if you could get any closer to the flock on the roost without spooking them all ! We knew things were getting real when you guys got on the other turkey and Sleazy started crawling. He was able to spread some ashes also which was even more special. I wish you would have spread his fan out to show all the folks who don't get to see a Merriam's turkey how beautiful they are ... Sure makes it easier to head out to work after watching you guys. God Bless and take care.

The footage of the kill shot was unfortunate but I could listen to Ol Sleazy talk for hrs, I moved to Montana a couple years ago from MS and I miss the way us ol southerners talk. Beautiful Merriam!

Some of that “situational” camera work there , sure makes it like your right in with you. Couldn’t have gotten any closer come sun up thats for sure. Very enjoyable!
