It's a couple cool APRIL mornings where we find ourselves wrestling GOBBLERS on our home turf once again. It takes some "doing" but we finally HUNT down a dandy, thick bearded LONGBEARD after having a few slip right through our fingers. Now this hunt is alot like some of them birds i get on here in Western Kentucky man. Never wants to cooperate and you got to go to him and get where he's been right at the right time and coax him back if you got the time to paly it out...lol I like how dad hung back when it was time to put the Mohican sneak thru all the jungle ...bout how my dad is anymore. Lol sometimes he helps call also but I loved it...this hunt reminded me of him an I on the hills in Kentucky broh!

Awesome hunt, great ending. Your calling on that final setup was pure turkey. Getting to that final setup without bumping him really had him fooled. True turkey hunting at it's finest.

I hope there are several more videos yet to be released this summer as well as a bunch to post in Jan. and Feb. I really enjoy them. The way you guys hunt is my brand of turkey hunting.

Great hunt there Dave! Time spent in the woods hunting with family is the greatest. Reminds me so much of my hunts with the navigating through the black berry thickets to get to the prize at the end. Thanks for sharing!
