The Merrimac Ferry reopened Friday morning following a 12-hour closure.
According to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office, a vehicle crashed into Lake Wisconsin at water landing around 11 p.m. Thursday. The two people inside swam to shore.
Deputies said the passenger was hurt and taken to the hospital.
The driver of the vehicle Treyson Doyle, 20, of Sun Prairie was arrested and taken to jail on a tentative charged of OWI (1st offense) causing injury.
Crews were able to get the vehicle out of the water Friday morning.
