At this point no one should question how Mizuhara treats Kazuya, yeah she can be very straight forward and a bit harsh, but it's not without reason especially the way he was creeping up on her in this episode. Yet in this one scene alone it shows how thoughtful and considerate she is as a person. Not only did she make a reference to how badly damaged Kazuya's phone was in the previous episode, she went out of her way to buy a case for it, ask for another guys opinion and remembered he liked visiting the aquarium so she got one with a fish design. She truly is a great character.

As you delve deeper into the story you truly come to fall in love with Chizuru as you come to understand all her tribulations, her dreams and how hard she works for them. ... a shame that the same can't be said of Kazuya. I mean, he does mature quite a bit, but it's still leagues behind Mizuhara's development as a character.

I would not say so in fact i would say she is the one who has gotten the short stick in terms of development since she still has this i wanna do everything on my own way of thinking and I can’t let my weaknesses be seen by others while kazuya understands the flaws within himself and everyone’s advice to heart like watching this kazuya and then the one in chapter 152 it is night and day. It is within him to finally help chizuru develop more as an individual

Bro. I didn’t even notice until I saw it on here. The phone case has fish. Their first rental date and second were to the aquarium. He also has his own fish and she even took the time to research fish for their second date. She put a decent amount of thought into the gift as well as a lot of effort in her own work

Okay, let's count: - grandmothers in the same hospital - actually going to the same school - living nearby - getting seen by friends - going on vacation to the same place without knowing - getting ill, when they want to end the relationship - friend books a rental girlfriend as well and asks for a double date --> second girl falls in love with MC - MC sees love interest on a "date" where the other person might be up to something, but it was all a misunderstanding - love interest buys present, but it's actually for the MC Are there any more clichés the anime didn't use yet? Like, MC doing a nice thing, but it's actually similar to something that happened in the past of the love interest, spoiling the whole idea. Anyway, in the end, the anime will go down as the anime with the most love story clichés ever.

Yea that's what I'm thinking, plus the most cringiest MCs of all time, I think that people who watch this without thinking for the first time might enjoy it like lil embarrassing me, but the second viewing will be horrible

@@Kiwi-bq3fg I would say that RomComs do often use some of these clichés but not all of them. I am not saying that it is bad, but I just noticed that they really went for EVERY one they could find. I would disagree on complex plot idea though.
