One of the few comic characters that genuinely terrified me as a kid. As an adult, the human condition, especially concepts like sociopathy and psychopathy, are fascinating to me, and Cletus here satisfies that psychological sweet tooth.

Here's the short version Cletus developed a warped mindset cause his parents were a mess and he killed his moms dog and so he he started murdering people from their "mundane" lives and met his soul mate in carnage to the point carnage made cletus for the most part immortal and is somehow related to the worlds first serial killer

Great video! Even though I'm already familiar with the history of venom as a big Spider-Man fan I still watched this video as I really love your videos and can tell you put a lot of effort into them. I think it'll be really cool if in the future you did a history of Hope Summers episode, she's probably the most important mutant created in the past 15 years but she surprisingly doesn't get a lot of coverage on KZfaq

Are you going to do history of the Shriek in your next video? How do you think she is the love interest for Cletus Kasady since she is the weakness of the Carnage Symbiote?

In my marvel universe series, Cassidy goes through an arc. That arc is about his and Shriek’s relationship. When he and Shriek first appear in the series it’s established that they have been partners in crime multiple times before the events of the series. Both of them enjoy each other’s company and being with the other. In one instance when Carnage fights Spider-Man, Peter sarcastically asks where his partner in crime is. Carnage answered the question but continued on about what he loved about her when he suddenly realize that he is actually IN LOVE WITH HER! That being feelings he had never really felt he escapes from the battle to ponder. He decides to brush it of but every time he sees Shriek smile or kill or just be there he can’t help but feel the same feeling again and that makes him question himself as someone many has said will never find love. He continues question and doubt and question his feelings to her until something happens. During a fight with Spider-Man the three of them indirectly causes an explosion. While Spider-Man and Carnage was more or less ok Shriek ends up getting really wounded. Carnage sees this as he rushes by her side begging that she was alive and unhesitatingly says how he loves her again and again and that he rather do stuff with her than doing it alone. Shriek opens her eyes, smiles and says that she loves him to before passing out. Carnage once again panics and carries her to Spider-Man begging him to take her to the hospital. Spider-Man’s morals of course makes him take her there but in his way there he thinks about the love Carnage had displayed to Shriek and thinks about his pregnant wife MJ. Months later we see Shriek on trail for what she has done over the years when suddenly Carnage goes in and proposes an deal that they would take him instead of her and says that this is their chance to get a worse killer. The judge agrees and Cletus gets arrested. Before leaving he says to shriek that for him… she will also be the one killer for him…. That reached his heart as they kiss. It’s later confirmed that they would get married after the shows end as the last “big point” where we saw them Carnage had proposed to Shriek…. And she said yes.
