@@amalpk8169 as some one connected to both languages it is a futile conversation as to which came first.. but if at all Sanskrit is alive closest to its native form it is in tamizh!! (Sanskrit yengavadhu adhoda thanmaiyoda uyiroda irrukuna adhu tamizh dhaan)

I'm from Kerala, our language was mix of sankrit and tamil called manipravalam in South Kerala, and in North Kerala it's a mix of malayalam, sanskrit, tamil and kannada!

@@rams5687 old tamil people , after the fall of chozhas created a new language for them and they included many sounds which is not in their old language ( tamil ). And their new language was malayalam.

The pride is because its the oldest kiving language in the world. Tamil is not just indian tamils. But there are sri lankan tamils too. (So long long long bank india srilanka were all attached together the tsunami hit other parts got destroyed sri lanka got sepearted) the tamil library with so many books all mahor artifacts everything was destroyed ij sri lanka they sri lankan tamils fled all over the world during civil war. In india thete exists hindi imposition. Its a reflection of many things but most importantly latin,sanskkrt such old languages are basically dead but tamil is alive because of the prode ppl took in it and how deeply its connected to ppl. Its a lifestyle. Tamil is the only language in the world which has a temole just for the language. Basically like kanguage is the god

The Vice President Kamala Harris is half Tamilian and her mother is from Tamil Nadu.Yes It is one of the oldest languages in the world. Not sure if it is the oldest. They have a lot of pride in their state and motherland.

@@mathanayili Too much politics not only from North but our main BACK STABBERS are the 4 south states (Karnataka, Andhra, Telangana & Kerala). They are all jealous and ill hearted living in our Tamil land and making us slaves in our own land (In whole of Tamil Nadu, there are lot of Kannadigas & Telugus revealing themselves as "Tamils" & hiding their TRUE IDENTITY. When their chance comes, they will not hesitate to STAB us from the back. Malayalis in Chennai have spoiled many Tamil Families. They do not have a proper root to come up in life. They always take cruel routes. All these 4 states are waiting to see the fall of Tamil Land. Eradicating these 4 states people is the only solution for Tamilians to live in peace (Tamilians in these 4 states are ill treated, insulted, oppressed and beaten. In Karnataka, during 1991 cauvery riots, many kannadigas raped innocent tamil women and killed their children). Time will come where these cruel activities will be repaid with DOUBLE INTEREST

Tamil Vowels and Consonants are called as Soul and Body. The grammar is based on how a Soul and Body involve in creating sound. For example a soul cannot directly contact another Soul, it has to contact through Body only. Similarly Body cannot create sound by its own. Body is just a medium/material. The Tamil vowels are common for any language in the world. Example B,C,D,G,P,T,V has E sound in it and F,H,J,K,L,M,N,S,X,Z has A sound in it and Q has U sound in it and Y has I sound in it. W - double U (UU) it has U sound. R has “ah” sound but this is not in english as a separate vowel. In fact “ah” is the base for all proper sounds created from mouth. Do not consider shh, iff sound which, these are not in Tamil.You can create lot more sounds like these from your mouth, but those cannot be taken as proper sounds since you cannot have a proper consonent(body) position. Yes, Consonants are just positions of the mouth/tongue/lips. If you tell “ah” continuously meanwhile close your mouth and open you will get “Amma”. If you tell “ah” continuously and stop while you close your mouth and start again while you open you will get “Appa”. “iP” and “iM” are same positions only difference is “iM” is nasal. Similarly Vallinam and Mellinam in Tamil follows. The Tamil grammar/language is based on how Soul and Body interacts. Tamil: Uyir ezhuthukkal (soul letters) are natural sounds that Humans make. Examples... ஆ Ha - when one gets pain ஈ Ee - when one laughs ஊ Uu - when one drops unexpectedly (whoops) ஏ Hey - In anger or when one alerts (Hey! watch out) ஐ ii - when one exclaims ஓ Oo - when one understands (Oh oh! now I understand) ஒள Ouu - when one fears of sudden pain (Ouch!) These expressions are common to any Human irrespective of language or region. Because these are natural sounds from inside us out of natural expressions. That is why these sounds are called as Uyir (soul) in Tamil.
