To all wondering, this video was made in 2003. The "Non-Split label" at 10:17 has a date of 01/11/03.

YLW Pyro it cannot be in 2003 because the 507/508's were refurbished in 2005
@agent_6056 жыл бұрын
They started refurbishment in 2003 and finished in 2005

Me too so reliable as well never late unless some jerkoff tries to kill themselves on the track. It happened to me on my way to rock ferry we were stuck in Green Lane for 20 mins whilst they sorted the issue. Its sad really I get suicidal at times particularly when I'm really unwell with my mental health. I am a train spotter and feeling very much lost at the moment cos I can't go on the train. I love going in the train.

@@jcb3259 I am the same but I'm not suicidal. I do miss the trains a lot but it's more important to remain safe at the moment and only use the trains if its essential. If your ever feeling suicidal, speak to someone about it rather than leave it inside you because that will make things worse for you. The best thing to do about a situation like that is to speak with a doctor to see if they can support you and help you to the best of their ability.

@@harrystrains3227 Thank you so much. I miss going on them and these ones go soon. I wish to spend more time with them before they are gone forever

When was this video created? Was it around the time when merseyrail was changing it's livery? I'm curious about the train in the background at the beginning of the video.

It was made around 2003 when they changed it, curiously around 3:41 you can see a train going past which has a black stripe on it which was removed a few years earlier. I guess not all units did have it removed

tightlock coupling called buckeye couplings are they
@GreatWestern-yp8mq7 жыл бұрын
The tightlock coupler is an automated version of the buckeye
@harrisongrant85582 жыл бұрын
They're different. Tightlock couplers have the electrical and air connections below the knuckle coupler (which has the stabilizing horn). "Buckeye" couplers have a knuckle without a stabilizing horn that can be lowered to reveal a standard drawhook, and the air and electric cables and hoses must be coupled separately.

It would be the same for the sister classes 313s, 314s and 315s. The 455s and 456s use tightlock couplings, but have the old fashioned cab mounted jumper cables and brake pipes that have to be manually connected. Classes 321, 322, 365, 465, 466 and 323s also use tightlocks with the multiple connection box beneath the coupling. London Underground, including S stock, use Wedgelock couplings.
