The Mesa Arch is located in the Island in the Sky District in Canyonlands National Park. It is about 38 miles outside of Moab, Utah. The trail to see the Mesa Arch is an easy 0.6 mile loop with 80 feet of elevation gain. About halfway through the trail is the Mesa Arch. The Mesa Arch stands just at the edge of a cliff and overlooks a vast canyon with the La Sal Mountains in the background. The arch is heavily photographed because it is east facing and the sun rises up through the arch which makes for some spectacular photos.

Loved the Canyonlands. We were there and Arches earlier this year and fell in love with both places. Great places for short or long hikes and to soak up mother nature. Amazing you were able to get the Mesa Arch without people. Always a joy watching kids have fun outside. Thanks for shairng.

I love a circular hike and it looked a nice steady hike as well. Nice that you got there early and had the Arch to yourselves, looked a great temperature as well, it's -3C in the North of England at the moment, so we could use some of that sun! Take care, cheers Alan

@@WithinHikingDistance I was there in early fall (September) and late fall and once in February. I got to see it in February with snow (fresh) and then with snow in late fall, both was stunning for photos at sunrise.

One of the best. It’s amazing how close you can get to the arch too! We loved it because it’s so easy to get to and there didn’t seem to many people on the trail. Good stuff y’all.

You're right! It's a easy short walk with a big wow effect at the arch. We visited in October and it was very crowded but I hear it is a bit different in the summer. Thank you so much guys!

Gorgeous! I would like to play with cars there too - my sister & I had tons of Matchbox cars when we were young and we played with them all of the time. I think dinosaurs would be perfect toys there too!

Very good Video from this hike. I thought it is much more difficult to reach this arches. In Gran Canaria we have also some arches but most of them are a little smaller. Best regards from Canary Islands.

Although it definitely isn't the largest arch out there, this is by far my favorite with just the majestic views. That and super simple to get to! I'll always remember it because that is where I broke my pinky finger by tripping over a rock lol. Thanks for showing off these awesome views and your experience there! - Shane
