We play our first game of MESBG and couldn't be more excited to show it to you. The Rohirrim look to penetrate Orc lines to join King Theoden as they ride to ruin and the world's ending! We hope you enjoy!

At the halfway through the video, I suddenly realized how stupidly cinematic and actually tactical all that maneuvering around the battlefield with horses actually looks. Great job and great video! Welvome to the LoTR universe! :)

I really enjoyed this. I found the channel through Necromunda content. I’ve always been curious about how this game played and watched this because I enjoy the level of rules explanation you fit while still making it feel like a narrative. Looking forward to more of these.

My first actual models for tabletop wargames were 12 gobline which came with the DeGostini Strategic Games in Middle Earth. Good times :)

No idea about the rules, I've been told they're some of the best GW has done. At least that was the word 10+ years ago... But I do love any force with horse archers! Lovely battle report.

@@MiniatureGameMontage @onkelgroen With heavier emphasis on higher wound rolls required (typically 5s or 6s) and all kinds of weapon and character special rules, it almost feels more like a role-playing game at times (compared to majority of the GW's games) :)

Really enjoyed this scenario. One thing to remember is when a model is knocked prone and survives they only move half when they stand up the following turn.

It seems like the orcs were harder to kill than the riders which seems skewed the wrong way, but maybe that was just the dice rolls…

100% the dice rolls. Tons of times we saw 4 dice rolled needed a single 5 or a single 6, and they weren’t landing. One thing to note, that adds to the thematics, the Orcs were Morannon Orcs. They are heavily armoured in comparison to just a standard Orc. That was keeping them alive.
