What else would you recommend? It's so hard finding artists like this. I stubbled on a band death eater, guy in a guitar group on Facebook 👌 9 string he plays

@@cupramannab4153 Meshuggah is and always has been a unique enigma. Djent came about from bands like Periphery or Sikth trying to copy their sound. Nobody quite got it right but it was still good so it kinda just turned into its own genre. Doesn't mean there aren't bands out there though that can't scratch that itch for downtuned heavy progressive type stuff. Loathe, Fractalize (closest I've ever heard anyone get to Meshuggah's sound,) Modern Day Babylon, Berried Alive, Car Bomb, Born of Osiris, Gojira, Strapping Young Lad, and Crystal Lake are some bands I would recommend if you're into Meshuggah.

@@sonofbelz give a listen to Koronal they are a Polish band on their second album they scratch the Meshuggah itch better than anyone I have found. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fs-hY6WluZa4qKs.html the whole album is awesome but the last half is world class..

You gotta check out vildjharta if you're gonna get into djent properly. Make sure it's a song from the first album like golden monk, or dagger. These guys are like the gold standard for this genre.

Except for the fact it's not Djent It's Thall. Vildjharta themselves are also Thall and even talked a iut the genre. Very similar to Djent. Easy explanation of Thall..Take all the breakdowns from every ion dissonance and make it into a full length album. THALL! Lol.

Nice. I've been into Fractalize from the beginning. In the track Prophet of Despair, at some point is sounds like a giant-robo pig from hell oinking at you.

Thall, nice! You should definitely react to both Vildhjarta and Humanity's Last Breath to get familliar with this "subgenre" of djent. Vildhjarta is the pioneer and HLB is like their sister band with Vildhjartas drummer Buster Odeholm playing guitar there, unearthly talented dude. Yes! So glad that you got to check these guys out, they're definitely one of my favorite artists to come out of the scene in recent years. If you get the chance pls check out their latest album. Also highly recommend that you check out the bands Vildhjarta & Humanity's Last Breath who they're very heavily inspired by. Another great instrumental band like this to check out would be Ater!
