The Violent Sleep of Reason was inspired by a Goya painting called "The Sleep Of Reason Produces Monsters." For the cover, the band once again enlisted Keerych Luminokaya who created the artwork for Koloss and The Ophidian Trek as well as the new images for each of the 7 albums and 3 EP's featured in the 25 Years of Musical Deviance box set. The album was produced by the band and was engineered by Tue Madsen of Puk Studios in Kaerby, Denmark.

Alright, Tomas is all good you know, but where's rest of the band members, Fredrik and Lovgren isn't the talkative type I know but Marten and sometimes a little bit Jens, do talk in interviews, so can we get them to talk as well?!...

they wouldnt need it if their music was sufficient in quality... But i guess this indicates that theyre aware of it too.. which i dont know whether i like or not...

nah mate.. im just disappointed with the direction they have gone with their latest release especially. Even more so their advertisement strategies... its pathetic really... when the artists and creators of a piece of art dont even take the authority to keep its integrity intact. Making shitty and cringey interviews, and small meaningless vids with vague expressions of forcefed emotions... Its clearly the publishers pushing their marketing agendas through... either way its pathetic Dont get me wrong though, i am definitely excited to hear the album. though sceptical..

HaProductions01 Ill take elitist over bigot any day. But no, Meshuggah used to be a lot of things that they are clearly not anymore... you could dub it "false advertisement"... point is, im disappointed.

he's just a poor Rammstein fan,,,a band with no talent that doesn't worry into ripping off a lot of guitar riffs from Ministry and put them in shitty pop songs
