Meta Quest 3 Users are Getting BANNED!

Meta Quest 3 users are getting banned after this update. We just got some big new features for the quest 3 and Meta also changed their age groups for their VR headsets. This caused a lot of vr users to get banned and have their headsets bricked. This is all part of the quest 3 v64 update and it will also continue in the next quest 3 v65 update of Meta.

There is no way I’m giving Meta my ID if they ask for it. It’s your device and you shouldn’t have to give meta anything other then your gamertag and possible payment options for the store if you choose to use it. Think of it like if you bought an iPhone 15 and you were asked to verify ID in order to use the product. Would that be right? No of course not.

just make sure you put the correct date and your age is above their minimum and you should be good

Question, if there was a quest pro for $51, would it be a scam? (Now, i know i have quest 2 not from ebay), but i was searching stuff in ebay when i saw a quest pro which was boxed and not used and litterly costed $51, i litterly think its a tiny bit fake but also think real.

Can Meta make also something where you can select which age groups you will allow in your multiplayer games? So that you can make sure that you have no screaming kids in your game running around.

Kinda off topic but did anyone get a green screen of death on there quest 3 once How i got mine: the game was frozen so i tryed to open the quest menu but the green screen appeared The quest 3 turned off normally no hard reset needed

Pimax Crystal Light is a fantastic pcvr headset at a very reasonable price! I have one and I really like it and I sure don't get any age restricting bull-sh1t ! Look them up.

Agreed. Kids should have very limited screen time during the school week. School should always be the #1 priority. China has it correct. 8pm to 9pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. That's plenty. On top of that kids ruin the gaming experience for adults. Very toxic and obnoxious. Last thing i wanna hear the only 2 hours a week I get to play is annoying children.

I'm 73 and I purposefuly put in my birthday wrong by one month and a year in my facebook because if I ever get my facebook account hacked by hackers, I certainly don't want them to harvest my birthday to add it to what they already may know about me, that for sure! Anyhow, I'm probably not going to buy the Quest 3 so it doesn't matter!

@@VRelity I especially like to virtually travel because it saves me the lost luggage, the airport security check and passport aggravations, other unexpected events and especialy the high cost of travelling to another country. I figure that by virtually travelling in one year alone, I should be able to pay for my VR rig! The other thing I really like to experience is the "special educational material"! Hahahaha!

Idr where exactly but you can see the version number you have somewhere in settings.

check your settings for v64 let me know if you managed. Normally it updates automatically

Its sad that parents are so lazy they ask comps to look after thier kids instead of doing it them selfs, its not the companies obligation to watch the kids, all this censoring is killing everything and its flaver, There is nothing wrong with a mixed bag of people as long as others do thier part, its no busness for anyone to step in like this login bs, A company is the last thing you want watching out and teaching our kids, this is the problem with america, theings used to be better before we added all this stupid shit.

@@VRelity It's completely normal in English to say "lay down". :) E.g. if a native English speaker feels sick, he is likely to say "I need to lay down." "lie down" is also appropriate, but they both get the point across and you will not look weird if you say either of them around English speakers. They are both completely normal and no one (except for this guy) will think anything of it. Your English is really good.

@@unsightedmetal6857 You're right, there is nothing wrong with "I need to lay down" in bad English. No one who cares about the quality of their language would speak that way. "I am lying down" is not "also appropriate" but is the only grammatically correct way of speaking. Check any reputable English dictionary, Einstein, and think before writing such rubbish.
