Buy The Metabo HPT 36V MultiVolt™ Circular Saw (“The Stud"), 7-1/4-Inch, Torque Boost Technology Here - amzn.to/3UD44ro
Torque Boost Defined - A function that automatically controls the output voltage by detecting an output current to increase the torque when it is insufficient. The automatic torque boost enables the relatively powerful operation of a motor.
Metabo HPT C3607DBQ4: The Stud - A Powerful and Precise Cordless Circular Saw
Metabo HPT (Hitachi Power Tools) has released a new challenger in the cordless circular saw market: The Stud (model C3607DBQ4). This 36V MultiVolt saw promises increased power, precision, and user-friendliness, making it a compelling option for both professional contractors and serious DIYers.
Cutting Power
The Stud boasts Torque Boost Technology, which automatically adjusts the saw from high speed for clean cuts to high torque for powering through tougher materials. This adaptability ensures you can handle a wider range of projects without needing a corded saw.
Precision Cutting
Metabo HPT hasn't sacrificed accuracy for power. The C3607DBQ4 features an industry-leading no-load speed of 6,000 RPM for smooth, clean cuts. A visible cutting depth indicator provides an extra layer of confidence, allowing you to ensure you're making the exact cut you need.
User-Friendly Features
Metabo HPT prioritizes user experience in their tool designs. The Stud is lightweight and ergonomic, reducing fatigue during extended use. Maneuverability is also enhanced, making it easier to handle precise cuts.
Additional Considerations
Battery Life and Power Source: While the blog doesn't specify battery life, readers will likely want to know how many cuts they can expect on a single charge and if additional batteries are sold separately. It's also important to note that this is a tool body only, so readers will need to factor in the cost of compatible batteries and a charger.
Blade Size and Material: The included 7-1/4 inch blade is a good standard size, but readers may want to know if Metabo HPT offers different blade options for various cutting tasks.
Conclusion
The Metabo HPT C3607DBQ4 "The Stud" appears to be a strong contender in the cordless circular saw market. Its combination of power, precision, and user-friendly features makes it an attractive option for professionals and serious DIYers alike. However, readers will likely want to research battery life, included items, and available blade options before making a purchase.

This Metabo HPT circular saw is primarily sold on Amazon. amzn.to/3UD44ro What do you think about that?

I hope so but to be honest I haven't being seeing that. milwaukee, dewalt and makita are still immensely more popular. but at least Metabo's new rear handle saw is getting some love.

True to my experience. The several Metabo tools I have are my most used. Extremely well-built.

Really liking the metabo saw, their nailers are top as well. Great to see competition making everyone make better tools. I also like the blade-on-the-left saws and the heavier worm drive style saws, as a heavy use demolition/framing user. I am not the guy in the jobsite with the heaviest possible impact with 6aH battery and the lightest possible circ saw. My impact runs a2aH and high speed charger, my circ saw runs 9aH and weighs near 20 pounds and i like that about it.

Never knew this existed but I found it on Metabo HPT site. Ordered it and it’s a strong and precise saw.

Seems pretty good, especially if you're framing and have to deal with wet, crappy lumber half the time. They put this torque switching tech on the new 12" miter saw too, I would love to see it on a second gen rear handle saw, the classic MHPT rear handle is still my fav but it definitely bogs down a little in wet lumber or lvls.

I am amazed on how straight you cut with that, what is the secret? At least it looked straight from this angle.

Really considering switching to Metabo HPT. Seem like quality products for a very reasonable price. I’m tired of my Milwaukee stuff growing legs and walking away.

I don't want to hate or anything. I just want you to know the rubber on the hikoki (MetaboHBT) tools is really sensitive to oils and other garage sprays or anything like it. It will absorb it and expend pealing of the tools. Milwaukee has a lot bigger resistance to this problem. Just so you know. Use you're brain and it will be the best tool you own!

I'm in metabo hpt I actually switched from milwaukee (not performance or price related). If you switch keep the tools that metabo doesnt offer. I love them but for automotive ihad to buy a ratchet, right angle impact, probably a cut off tool soon. Love they're 36v stuff

I love mhpt but man if your one of the guys that wants access to all the niche tools a brand has to offer don’t go with mhpt/hikoki or you’ll pay 3-400 a tool for the bare tool and importing most the tools you want it just seems that for every 4 tools the hikoki brand releases mhpt may release one and most of them are good…I don’t have performance issues with the brand just the fact you can’t get any the good tools like the oil impulse driver, the whole ope line, the dust blowers the barrel grip jigsaw, the entire 14.4 and 12v line lol every tool we get has been out for a year in Japan lol so ya great tools shit logistics & as far as new tools go I think the new 18g Brad nailer nt1850dg is an interesting play imo however idk about a nailer without the air spring technology they usually use in all the other nailers, it works but using a mechanical spring like dewalts nailers have which wasn’t great imo

Plus they keep reducing the number of tools on the lithium ion lifetime tool warranty now angle grinders die grinders none of em are covered but a one year warranty on a 6” Grindr is shit when Milwaukee has 5 and dewalts 6” dcg418b is the biggest beast if that’s what ur after but one yr is just shit and they keep adding tools to that list

Ive loved the metabo hpt tools that i own, but have had poor luck with the larger multivolt batteries. Seems like they fail right out of warranty. The smaller ones seem to be going just fine so far.

I bought in to metabo cordless 2 years ago. Have lots of their tool s. The only thing I'm not too impressed with is the 10 inch dual level slider, 36v .... It's not really accurate enough got trim due to design. It's fixable if you machine a part to replace the plastic... However every single other tool is holding up well, works great to exceptional and was cheap with all the promotions and cheaper batteries than competitors. Love it.

This is a nice saw! I do really like my HTP rear handle though. I would love to see Metabo-HPT release a 6 1/2" blade left! I'm about to buy one from another brand, but I wish I didn't have to.

Hey There! The saw is designed to switch back to speed mode when the load becomes lighter, but the load must become light enough before it does to avoid overly-frequent switching back and forth and unstable operation. Let us know if you have anymore questions!
