LoveBites released their first single/album in 2017, they've released 4 CDs and 1 EP as well as 2 live DVDs in just 3 years. They are the best power metal band in 30 years since Maiden and Priest. Japan have a metal tradition from the 80 with a lot of great bands. A lot of them not well known outside Japan because the language barrier. I thought your reactions were condescending and chauvanist. I would put Lovebites up against any male metal band (including yours) and I think they would probably slay the opposition with their technical ability, songwriting skills and live performance. They make it seem so effortless at the same time as looking like supermodels on the catwalk and perform a full 90 minute plus gig, playing their instruments, moving around the stage, headbanging and changing the pedals on their effects boards wearing four inch high heels and do not even break sweat says it all. Japan has had an active all-girl metal scene since at least 1981. Show-Ya are the original female J-metal band, founded before Metallica-and they are still touring. I read enough to see that you liked Lovebites, however the silly remarks about making sure their nails were done,wearing high heels, the”wedding dresses “ seemed childish. They basically said in an interview that they wanted to play power metal,but they wanted to show their feminine side. My only negative take away from your reaction is the Dragonforce reference IMHO A band famous for 1 song is no comparison to a band with over 60 very awesome songs that do sound more like the 80's British bands like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest

Good ear on the Helloween influence. Them and Iron Maiden have often been namechecked by Lovebites as major influences. They're big on 80s European power metal and 80s thrash. Lots of people who hear this song and a few other Lovebites songs for the first time say "female Dragonforce", but I think what they're hearing is the Iron Maiden influence more than Dragonforce, or maybe I just like to think that because I've never really liked Dragonforce. You might like to check out Thunder Vengeance live, it's one of their thrashier songs (they have quite a few) and it kicks ass.

I'm also from a Latin culture and I got that you meant no disrespect and you were having fun while appreciating the music, but I also understand how some people especially from other cultures would think you were making fun of their looks, or taking the joke a bit too far. I think you should react to Holy War live video from them, they are phenomenal live, and it would be a sort of "redemption" for the fans that were disappointed in your video, and maybe pay a bit more attention to the music and less to the looks and dresses.
