I'm a massive em fan and I listen to this song a lot but it doesn't bother me that you won't listen to it again, you appreciated it and his skills and that's good enough for me. and you're right, its a song he did mostly for himself and about his critics etc. I listen to it a lot because im just very into the beat and word play, it satisfies me lol

Yeah you'll skip this tune on the playlist often, but when you do listen to it all you can do is shake your head. The talent level in this song is off the charts. Even though it doesn't have as much replay value as other tracks of his, it's easily some of his best work.

I agree with a lot of the comments. I'm a huge Em fan, and I listen to Rap God quite a bit, but it wasn't made for replay value. It has decent replay value for hardcore fans, but this track was made to prove the point of the title....can't call himself Rap God until he proves it. Good work, keep it up.

I believe this track was intended as a muscle flex, an exhibition of his skills, more to be amazed at than actually enjoyed. Some really clever and funny lyrics in there as always and quite literal, lyrical acrobatics.

I'm also a big fan of rap and hip hop in general and most of the reactions on you channel are about songs that i already know. But it happened sometimes that some of them were foreign to me as well and i really enjoyed reacting to those with you for the first time! Definitely not a song you would put on repeat but when you do hear it...you can appreciate the level of lyricism put into it. I always seem to catch something different every time I hear an Eminem track....no matter how old it is.

I know it’s odd to think about, not getting the blow back you’d think you’d get from your thoughts, but the truth is you understand exactly what this song was mad for! Now I absolutely love Em, and I listen to this song pretty often while others may not hears the one thing everyone that’s herd it understand what it was meant for! Which is the whole point. Em is a word play genius. Not sure if you even caught the part were he said “high school flunky” that was directed at himself were he failed English, and dropped out, but yet he has the worlds largest dictionary in his mind locked away from others, and understands English way better than me, and honestly some folks I know! I love Em for that because he literally shows you can fail at anything in life, and can build your self back up from it a be the best that yourself can be! I’ve failed at many things, but each time I learn from it and build my self back up becoming stronger, and smarter from it!

Something you could try, is if Eminem wins in the polls every time, then maybe do like a poll every once in a while with 4(or w/e) different Eminem songs to choose from instead. That way you can still do Eminem every now and then and it doesn't feel unfair during any voting. Anyways, first vid i've seen, and I think it's cool if there's some of Eminem's songs that aren't something you'd play regularly in your playlists, I feel that way with a few even though I love those songs.. They just kinda speak their message and you move on. Don't doubt it though, he's got some real heat that could find its way into your playlists, definitely some of his first few albums where he had a different life going on and an obvious evolving talent that mirrored his position in life. As a Reactor of any Musical Preference...No One ☝🏽 can erase the FACT that Em is a Lyrical Genius. He came from the 80’s OG Hip Hop Era and he worked with Rap Artists who created and made it popular. This track was specifically made for one thing only and that was to remind the real hip hop artists that understand the true nuances of the genre that he had not fell off and could still murk anyone in the game with a pen and paper. He raps in a different style in every single verse of this song and unless you are a hip hop artists or a die hard fan it can be hard to appreciate the real attributes of this track. Not saying your opinion on the track is bad, in fact I think you gave it a fair assessment from your perspective, but for someone who grew up on EM and have listened to everything he has put out from 2010 and prior a hundred times over and a good majority of his stuff from 2010 to current times this is another lyrical masterpiece from the GOAT. But for most people including myself you really have to analyze the lyrics from start to finish in this song which is very hard to do listening to it one time, but mad respect for your thoughts on the matter and I cannot tell you how much I love that a 50+ year old man gives him the true credit he deserves.

Don't worry bruh, I'm in a similar boat - surely appreciated this song but it's also definitely one I would never put on my playlist. It's just one of those you listen to from time to time, where these "times" are separated by pretty damn long intervals.
