No other hip hop artist has come close to eminem in awards, sales... Basically every measurable way. Tupic and Biggie represent a golden era of hip hop, but realistically they can't touch Eminem. The only person that can top Eminems mantle is Dre... Without him hip hop would pretty much not exist, let alone Eminem not existing. Eminem is undoubtedly the GOAT.

It was Jimmy Iovine's intern who "found" Eminem. Send this cassette to Jimmy and he heard it and was pretty impressed by it, who then again played it back to Dre who thought that Em was a black person. Later Dre called Em and asked him to visit his studio and the rest is history.

@@Tipi83 Dr Dre picked Eminem out of a bunch of tapes Jimmy Iovine had for him to go through. I think Jimmy was trying to give Dre anything to not get fired at that point since they both were struggling.

Not really all the beats... he has a major role on MMLP yeah but even on his first three albums Em actually has more production credits than Dre, and the bass brothers did a lot too
