awesome video!! I look at these prefab like this 1. wood is 2x the cost 3x in some areas, 2. life of the actual building has got to be longer on a metal garage.3. like you said and did, you could poor a pad and a building in a week vs. pole barn style or block foundation style would take much longer. Plus they really do look nice when your home has a metal roof on it also. Thanks for the time you took on this I'm putting one up in the spring and needed to gauge size judging by yours this would give me plenty room to fill with half finished projects and empty beer cans. OHHHH and 4. YOU DONT HAVE TO SWEEP SNOW OFF YOUR WIFE'S CAR ALSO @430am ON YOUR WAY TO WORK!

Looks great. I'm putting up a garage shelter port that I got on auction. It's 20×20 but I'll be extending it 10 feet. I found 2 9x8 garage doors for $300. I'm super frugal with expenditures ya know lol so I'll be doing all my own labor and concrete and everything. I like watching how everyones shops turn out. I'm planning on insulating and electrical for welding and maybe a heater or a wooden stove. Depends a guess.

Getting ready to do a 20x26x10 metal shop in NC too. Last 24x36 (with a walk up attic) garage I built took me 3-4 months working nights & weekends. I’d definitely use the AK on trespassers - Blowww!

Nice garage! I just had a 24x24 installed. It's nice the only issue I had was with the heat! It's bad in summer time but I did 1/2 styrofoam on walls and double in the ceiling and what a difference it made! I did 3/8 plywood after and it's cool inside. You will definitely notice the difference once you do insulation. Congratulations on your garage.

$6600 included installation? Thats a pretty good deal. A stick built would've easily cost you $25-30k. We're building a new home now and I'm not sure our budget is gonna have enough left for a stick garage so I'm looking into these. Thx for the video.

im about to do 25x31 6 inch over on the slab, did you use rebar, steel mesh,? ....my footings need to be 12x12 inches 4 inch everywhere else,i like your lights,and how you sealed it up,...yeah i bet its loud in rain,i plan on running 220v to weld,,i wS suprised you only needed 6 inch footers,...did you need a permit?

Nice walk through. I had a builder give me a price on a stick built, the same size and he wants 32k plus tax. I'm havin' a hard time swallowing that. E L, I am worried about your fish. I have the same size shop and layout as you. I have been wondering about foam board versus this radiant barrier double bubble wrap. Or this batt insulation with from LTH steel structures (google it). How do you like the boards so far? Very nice shop and videos thanks a lot!
