One thing I like about Nokta/Makro is the reasonable prices. They release a new detector every year and so previous releases are always discounted. Performance is as good as it gets. Great detectors, quality build, innovative, I’m a fan. Stay healthy Hunter, you do a nice job always.

Thanks for the kind words Jack. I agree and I like their detectors plenty. Some people like to complain about them releasing each year and dropping the price a year after release, but I love it. They don't sit on their tech, they show it off as it comes, and treat their customers with tons of love.

Great review as usual Hunter! Taking the time to get to know the machine sure makes for a much better review. That is really a pretty good looking machine with a ton of usable features. The sound seems normal too. I'm so used to the Fisher sounds that some machines just sound annoying, not this one. Patiently waiting for part 2.

Thanks man. It is pretty feature rich for sure. You can adjust it to sound like just about any Fisher/Tek machine...or that XP Deus mouse squeak. In Gen Delta it almost has a PI warble to it. A neat machine for sure.

A very good review Hunter. On what appears to be a very high-end machine and new competitor in the metal detector field. But also seems like a very complex machine with an awful lot of features. Anyway I will be waiting for the second half of your review. Take care of Hunter and be safe.

Simple as all get out for new users , turn it on and put it in whatever tone and frequency you want and go detect . Read the manual and it makes it easy as can be . I have one and it's a great detector and goes really deep .

Waterproof, and has iron audio volume. Iron Volume is a big feature i use in cellas thats missing from the AT’s. Gonna be interesting.

Hi mate , great review as usual and for the price looks like a good machine , well made and sturdy , with plenty of features to keep you busy , but in saying that i think i will stick with the T2 / SE cant fault it ! , good video and well presented my friend ATB GL & HH Rob,

Thanks Robbie! I still have my T2 and will be using it plenty as well. Sent all of my coils to MGC Labs to use....so out of commission until they sent me a prototype. I'll be using it again that day! This one is a keeper too. Built like a tank and I figure it just might outlast me. ATB and HH my friend.

My pleasure! Remember 4 and 5 tones are fairly high gain modes...so they do introduce a bit more EMI and chatter in the mix. If it ever gets too much try switching to 3 tone mode and keep gain above 90 for the depth. Best of luck!

Good Morning, Just received the Nokta Makro Anfibio Multi this morning. While unboxing I saw a number of components loosely floating around in the box but nothing was damaged.. My first impression was that this detector primarily uses a great deal of plastic in its construction. I believe the only piece that was not plastic was the center section. Although the use of plastic is not necessarily an indication of quality, I have to wonder what type of plastic was used in the molding process. Hopefully it was not ACP (any crappy plastic). I would think that since they are ISO 9001 certified, their manufacturing process is very well regulated. Time will tell. A plus on the plastic parts, there was a minimum of plastic flash from the molding process. I found all other components to be of very high quality. I have yet to run through the programs but just actuating the buttons , I found them to be a bit "mushy" and without very much tactile feel. Having used such button types during my carreer, the lack of tactile feel can be over-come by using an audible tone to indicate actuation. Field Testing will begin soon. So far, I'm pleased with my purchase.

Nokta / Makro are producing some fantastic Detectors with better to come especially when the True Simultaneous Multi frequency one arrives on the scene. This Anfibio Looks very cool..Feature packed and super high build quality.

Since there is no pad on the cuff...I could see myself trying it out someday to tighten it up. Winter is here almost so hoodies and jacket for now.

I can't decide on the Anfibio Multi or Multi Kruzer. I was really leaning towards the Anfibio, but the Kruzer is over a half pound lighter, and that matters a lot to me.

Kruzer is for sure more ergonomic with the S-rod setup - lighter coil - carbon fiber lower rod.

I picked up a Anfibio Multi 2 weeks ago. It seems like a good machine. But I am having trouble with the pinpointer. It appears to be very unstable on deep target. It doesn't lock in very well. It picks up pennies very well. Today, I used it for about an hour and a half. I got 24 coins. I decided to go back to my F75. I used it for 4 1/2 hours and picked up about 140 coins including 78 quarters and a silver 25 cents. With the F75, the depth is about 8 inches but the machine is very sensitive. It sucks up quarters.

While I love the F75 I prefer the Anfibio in almost all aspects other than ergonomics. I think more hours under the belt will make it mesh with you a bit more. It is definitely deeper and separates better. What settings are you running?

I am concerned about Multi Anfibio vs Multi Kruzer, I saw many videos on KZfaq. Nothing can be specifically explained about the advantages of Multi Anfibio which is more expensive compared to Multi Kruzer. Does the macro-nokta have an explanation about the differences between the 2 machines, if tested with the same large coil, for example, both use 13 "coil, are there more specific suggestions and explanations?

Anfibio adds 5 tone and 99 tone setting - Cache mode - tone segment volume adjust - notch segment volume adjust - freq shift - backlit keypad. Anfibio also has pistol grip vs the s-rod on Kruzer.

Sure...in 2 tone you will have 2X tone options and a single tone breakpoint. With 3 tone mode, you get 3X tone option and 2X breakpoints to adjust the pitch/volume. So whatever the tone number is....equals the number of tones you can work with.

Also it is a 3 frequency machine not a multi frequency one. [5,14 and 20]. Multi implemented on Amfibio name is confusing!

It is not confusing at all since having 3 frequencies to switch between means you have "multiple" frequencies. It is selectable...not simultaneous....but still a "multi"-freq machine.

Sounds like you have a Kruzer...they come with fiber lower rods and 2 lines of info.

Can't get it work in High mineralized sand in the salt water! Beach mode does not work and found no one that has managed to work with it silently so far! I am very disappointed as I got it for going underwater and can't get did work : (. Anyone experienced underwater search that can give me a setting that actually work I will be more than happy!

Many people use it with success on the beach. Plenty of videos on KZfaq with it finding silver and gold. Beach mode is the only mode that will quick grab to 0 on the ground balance. So go to Beach mode...ground balance...go back up to 4-5 tone and search. Whatever is your favorite tone option. Sens 70-99...Disc 5-10....should be just fine. Done it myself on black sand beach in California...no problem at all.

10-12 inches on coins - dependent on soil conditions and EMI or course.

I've been swingin off & on for 40 years so from experience, I KNOW this is a bad-azz machine! That being said, this is WAY too much of a machine for me! WAY too many adjustments/settings. I'd have to go to tech school to figure it out! Plus... All those tiny buttons. HOW could you adjust on the fly with a pair of gloves on in freezing weather, let alone PINPOINT with that crappy (just my opinion) face-plate??? I do think however that this machine will wake up countless All Toy... Uh, I mean AT Pro users to what a serious top of the line 'tector is!! (If the Nox & Deus hasn't already) Great review!

Thanks for watching Metro! I love it myself, one of the best I have used. But can see why it would not be for everybody. Larger gloves would probably have an issue with it for sure.
