@@thehuntergt XP will release the WSA II XL Headphones soon. The Quest headphones that Iffy Signals mentioned in his video are available now for around $100 USD (The WS6 Puck slides into the headphone socket). That doohickey at 5:29 in looks like a sprinkler paddle?

Bottle cap rejection is aimed at the crown bimetallic bottle caps. Aluminum screw top caps will sound good on any detector. They are 100% non ferous metal. The only way to get rid of those is put a notch of discrimination in. But then of course you'll be losing targets in the dime penny silver range. I think Bud light crown caps are aluminum as well so you might get some of those too. Bottle cap rejection on the Deus 2 is similar to iron bias settings in the equinox. Had a chat with Iffy Signals right after this and we came to the same conclusion. The BC reject for sure works similar for F2 on the Nox. Deeper large iron especially. The main problem with these aluminum screw caps is they ring higher than normal on the Nox and this Deus 2. They land right in between zinc and tab/nickel on the T2 and other single freqs (especially concentric coils). However - they trade off for crown caps, even rusty ferrous ones that this and the Nox ignore thanks to the F2 (BC on this). I'll show it off on an upcoming video. Interested to see how the Legend does it. Thanks for watching! More to come.

I have been waiting for you to give a review of the XP Deus 2. There are a few other channels I watch for their opinion. I don't like the head phones either... I got the over the ear kind that the controller snaps into... the one for the Deus 1 with work with the Deus 2 puck. Keep up the good work John.

John, great first time out with the D2. I like the dollar coin. I Have yet to find one of them here in Ohio. I like the target sounds of the D2. The pinpoint function seems kind of loud thru the speaker. How did it feel swinging the 11” coil, with regards to your arm and wrist? Maybe more of talk about the D2 on your next live stream? Keep Digging, THGT!

Thanks! Yeah I'll be chatting it up on Tuesday for sure. The speaker gets VERY loud. One of the loudest I have heard on any detector. 11in coil feels decent...no wrist pain or anything like that. There is some shaft flex...I do wish it was carbon fiber for the price.

Early days, as you say. I like the control housing, buttons, and dash-board layout. Looks tactile and robust, with senSibly sized buttons that are spaced well. Cuts out the frustrations that can be encountered when starting out with cold, wet fingers on damp days with a 'fiddlesome' thang to set up. If it's Xp it will be very good, if it's a flag-ship Xp it oughta tick beaucoup boxes. Whether or not it becomes your 'Valentine' remains in un-charted territory just now. ATB John.

It did well today on hunt 2. I meshed much better with it. I love the Orx - so figure I love this eventually as well. To many girlfriends - not enough time.

What an amazing tone detector.. I like the clarity of the tones. Will I get one of these Deus 2 detector.. Well I am in the works talking about it with Talisha.. But I might just wait a few more months or even a yr or two.. Depending on how much more I can dig out of the grounds over the time.. Looking forward to more review videos on this detector for sure.. Nice first run John! I'd say a clad half or dollar coin is way more rare to dig than an old silver. When you first went to that 71 Washington quarter I quickly thought silver. Lol. Weird how some of them look lile that. Looking forward to more vids of using it. I wonder how much modern stuff is masking good targets at that place!

Yeah, that quarter sure looked silver out the hole. When I saw 71 I turned it on edge and copper the copper band....pffft. Trashiest park I have ever hunted...I'm positive there is rad stuff below I will never uncover. Thanks for watching my man.

It is pricey for sure. Wish is had better headphones and a better shaft for the price. There is some wobble in the lower shaft with the 11in coil.

Square audio basically makes it sound like a Nox. Flute tones. I much prefer the PWM which is classic Deus 1 tones.

Google Pixel 6 Pro. A bit over saturated and it skips frames here and there - but other than that I love it. Great phone with a great camera.

After pre-orders and backorders filled...late Spring to early Summer before they show "in stock". Best bet is (was) to get an order in sooner than later.

@@thehuntergt Thanks for the reply... I put in a pre pay order in January (early-ish January) with BigBoys Hobbies.. that guy wouldn't disclose to me, my standing, on the list. Or in other words...how many ahead of me. Nor could he tell me, How many he would be getting ....when they start hitting the dealers. I'm thinking I would be better off with a big dealer... like Kellyco maybe. But I suppose it's a hurry up and wait.

@@willardreasoner1694 Big Boys Hobbies is a large dealer. Kellyco is the only one bigger. XP has not sent info on supply count - or a hard specific date. Dealers and distributors rarely tell a customer how long the pre-order list is. You are correct in your final sentence - unfortunately.

curious on the XY screen ... does it work at depth or is there a certain depth where it no longer becomes useful? ... does it correspond with the TID in some way?... good show.

I don't think it corresponds to ID since sometimes the line is squiggly mess on trash. I will investigate on how it handles depth and if there is a cutoff where is tightens or loosens. I see it as a neat tool but not a dig decider.
