I have some of the same machines.... tell your wife you have a small collection compared to most of us in the hobby. Ask her if a gal can have too much jewelry or shoes... she will change her tune lol.

Hey, Martel....I wish you could do a segment on the "classic" Garrett Master Hunter CX detector!....I STILL LOVE THAT DETECTOR! Lololol. I have been hunting with that machine for 20 years + and it still amazes me as to its sensitivity. I just recently bought the new Garrett Z-Lynk wireless system. ...AND MAN IT IS SPOT ON!....This is my baby and "primary detector" until I upgrade to a Garrett AT Pro. I love my Deeptech Vista Gold. I use it in the Heavy Gravy of nails. You can never have too many metal detectors. GL&HH

My favorites are the Whites TDI, The TDI SL, Whites XL PRO Slim body, BlissTool V3, XP GOLDMAX, GARRETTS INFINIUM, and a few others, Tesoro SUPER SABRE and old school machines Best of the BEST the TEKNETICS MARK 1 LTD, TEKNETICS TURBO, TEKNETICS S/T and of course the TEKNETICS ROADRUNNER.. These machines I will NEVER EVER SELL.

If you had to pick just one metal detector, and leave all the rest behind, which one would you pick?

HAHAH ..you can never have enough detectors. I have two the same machines and full set coils for BOTH! one is Mint other is work horse and found me lots of coins. I miss my CX iii😒..fun machine Where are the PI machines at? lol..

What would be a good choice for someone that's blind or can't read?

Wish the British Red Heat brand was still around. LIGHTNING QUICK response/recovery times. Other notables for their quickness are the Troy X5(Canada), Mikron NRG-110(Bulgaria), DeepTech Vista Gold(Bulgaria), XP Goldmaxx Pro(France), Rutus Argo(U.K.), BH VLF/Gold Digger(very quick but not very deep; U.S.A), Gold Century GC-1023(China), AKA Sorex(Russia), etc., etc.................Now for the ones with raw depth; Nexus MDs(all; Bulgaria), Fisher MDs(all of the X-Series along with some from the 70s/80s and the newer ones as well; U.S.A.), Garrett MDs(some from the 70s, 80s, 90s and the AT Pro/Gold and other newer models from them such as the ATX, Mikron NRG110, XP(most or all), AKA, Minelab, Blisstool, and many, many more brands/models that are too numerous too mention but are (still) VERY HEALTHY contenders and yes, contrary to popular opinion, their were some older 1970s-80s machines that were just as deep, if not deeper than the sub-$1500 category of newer machines from modern times. They just need to be resurrected, and given the honor and attention they deserve, that's all. It's that simple. .
