MGS3 is the third mainline entry (the eighth Metal Gear game to be released) in the hugely successful and world famous Metal Gear Solid series. Metal Gear Solid 3 was developed and is published by Konami.
In this video from AspectGameReviews, JCN covers his face in shoe polish (which he instantly regrets), wraps himself in a green camouflage tent bag and grimaces as he attempts to eat eel (they didn't sell snake in the supermarket) as he once again ventures into Kojima surrealism...

I have to confess my sin. I consider myself a MGS fan but havent played anything other than MGS1 and The phantom pain. Still i loved these games and searched online for the background story. The thing is I was always more of a PC player and most of the games where released in playstation. Now I got the Master collection on Pc that gives me the chance to experience MGS2 and 3. I recently started with 3 since it is first chronologically and slowly but steady have fallen in love with it. Sure the graphics and mechanics are a bit outdated but the game has a soul that many modern games dont have. I am late for the party but its better than never. Also keeping my eye on the remake.

Thank you for your comment '@dimitristsipis4841'. I am very glad that you have discovered the Metal Gear Solid series, it is indeed the characters and the story that really shine. MGS IV and V are definetly worth playing if you can get hold of them, although MGSIV they may well still be a Playstation exclusives, perhaps they will also be ported at some point. Next will be the MGS3 remake, which will be available on PC.

@@AspectGameReviews I hope the remake is released soon. Snake eater with tpp controls and graphics will be great. As for mgs4 I m pretty sure it will also be released on PC, since this collection is labeled as volume 1. This makes me believe there will also be a volume 2. Really being able to play all mainline games on one platform is something I wished for ever since i was a kid.

I am not certain when the remake will be released, I think that I saw a rumor that it may be around November of this year, perhaps, no idea. As for the 2nd volume, again no idea when, but would think that it would be released around or soon after the remake.
