I didn't notice this, despite playing the game through and watching this scene multiple times before that Vamp is actually catching and throwing back the knives as Raiden deflects them.

I'd love to see them remaster this cutscene specifically It's some absolutely phenomenal cg-cinematography. But age has not helped this cutscene in one particular area. True-to-Life speed By that I mean they're using the illusion of having characters have an almost-silhouette following them to represent the blur of high speed movement. It's good for the time, but if you compare this to some of the action you see in Metal Gear Rising's cutscenes with Raiden it definitely shows the improvement of updated technology. And Rising was made EIGHT years ago now. Imagine the improvements to CGI we'd get for a cutscene like this Now!

The fact that raiden can move tonnes of metal with his limbs pretty much means he has super cyborg strength but it does not do good against a elusive target like vamp

Everything in this scene looks like it will become a reality in a not-too-distant future Nanomachines - See graphene oxide nanomaterials Cybernetic arms and legs - Prosthetic limbs Machine-like organs - 3D-printed organs or well, literally same thing. Metal Gear Gekko - See lab-grown or genetically engineer meat or organs + AI research Fodder soldiers who can only use guns assigned to them - Internet of things and internet of bodies, linking people to objects, and they can only access whatever they are authorized to.

I used RPCS3 which is a PS3 emulator to render in 4K and then I used Nvidia shadowplay to capture it in a high bit rate

Just tried it and it freezes constantly most likely due to the fixes not being applied to the demo version of the game

What's that ? Cow moo robots ? And why Raiden make breakdance ? Uuuggghhhh this video is funny but why don't add reptile, devil or lion noise for the robots. This fight is a musical fight movie. But Vamp with his Gogo-Dancer show when he THREW his jacket or spin on Raiden's body is hilarious...this guy was probably a chipendale before becoming the assassin he's now

It has to do with psychology. The theory is, large animals invoke a sense of fear, such as whales etc. And in the battlefield. This can be an advantage.
