@@luisalvarezvargas9134 In the GameCube version you can defeat him by calling Coronel like 10 times, then dying to Psycho Mantis like 3 times. After that Colonel simply tells you to destroy some statues to disrupt Psycho Mantis' powers.

Mantis really only recognizes a small number of games. In the PS1 version, it's Castlevania Chronicles, Suikoden, Vandal Hearts, and Azure Dreams (all made by Konami). In the GC version, it's The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Super Mario Sunshine, Eternal Darkness, and Super Smash Bros. Melee. If you haven't played any of those, he'll say your memory is clean.

In my video I have these saves for Ps1: Castlevania, Suikoden, Azure dreams and Vandal Hearts. In Gc vers. have these saves: Super Smash bros, Legend of Zelda. There 2 more games he can read in Gc version: Super Mario Sunshine, Eternal Darkness. In jp ps1 version these game can he read: Snatcher, Policenauts, Tokimeki memorial and Mitsumete Knight. Similar to how Mass Effect reads your save data from the previous game, it checks for a specific file directory in the memory card (for example, saves/ME2/ for Mass Effect 3 checking for ME2 data). Same concept here

@@satyamSaha They would need to hire the voice actor for Mantis just for that. Instead they could just remove the part where he says “melee” so that way he just says “Super Smash Brothers”.

@@satyamSaha I doubt they would, they edited some of the audio for Super Mario Sunshine on the Switch so I don’t see why they wouldn’t do it for Twin Snakes if it came to the Switch.
