My exact thought too. It's funny that the girl able to sense laser dot on her back, but took a minute admiring it. This fight should end by going for snake head and then the girl. Save us the 10 minutes.

I'm honestly infuriated how they stared at the sniper's laser for a whole minute and then act surprised when Meryl got shot. Aren't they both soldiers? Snake is literally a war hero ain't he? He doesn't know what a laser sight is?!?

I got really annoyed at Meryl's dying monologue (so I was getting really bothered throughout the game haha. Bear in mind this was like my 47th playthrough), so I took turns shooting her with Wolf. Eventually, you get a mandatory codec call where Colonel says you're not the man they wanted for the job. I'd never heard that line before - it's always fun when you find another detail in the game. Though, as far as I'm aware, it doesn't have any effect on the rest of the story. No, THAT came from when I gave in to Ocelot in about 0.21 seconds because I wanted stealth camo. I really was a son of a bitch this time around.

I think the reason they didn't move was because they already knew they were fucked from the start since that laser started pointing at meryl, any sudden movements at that point would just cause Meryl to get shot

So this is the actual Sniper Wolf. I heard of her in passing on the SmashWiki, specifically on the article regarding Snake's Codec Conversations that I first read in 2010. I later subscribed to the KZfaqr Sssniperwolf in 2018.

@@TheMack625 To get into the franchise you need to master the basic principles of stealth and then you’ll be good. The franchise is about avoiding conflict so combat is best to be avoided. The games have lots of comic relief as well, it’s not all just serious moments.

@@TheMack625 Well Peace Walker and Portable Ops Plus were rated T and not M and that was because they didn’t have any blood. The only Metal Gear game that had any super dark elements was 5 but that was because it was supposed to have a serious tone. I wish that they would bring these games to switch because the Metal Gear franchise needs a bigger audience. Most rated M franchises are pretty crappy nowadays but those franchises are things like Call of Duty and Assassins Creed which get new games almost every year. Metal Gear and Bayonetta rarely get any releases which is a sign that the games are well made, if you have to pump out a game every year the game doesn’t have time to get lots of needed polish. The M rating shouldn’t be a turn-off, it’s all about the quality of the franchise’s games. But I can see why you prefer to play games that are rated E because the audience is focused on all age groups.

So I never played this, just the original, but did they record new dialogue for twin snakes? I remember Naomi having a British accent and wondered if they replaced some voice actors...

The only voice actor that got replaced was Gray Fox's voice actor. Other than that, they're the same ones. Also, they removed Naomi and Mei Ling's inappropriate accents, because they realized it doesn't make sense.

Nope. You can play the original MGS on the first PlayStation, PS2, PS3, PSP and also on a PC. However, The Twin Snakes can only be played on a Nintendo GameCube.

I Just finished her boss fight on the original Metal Gear for PS1 (where the mechanics are pretty wonky, for example to shot Snakes *has* to be laying down, it turns slowy af and it's hard to position snake, so it's way harder) after god knows how many attempts, even had to do it again after winning cause I died when Ocelot electrocutes you cause I didn't notice my controller turned off due to inactivity when I had to press "O" , to me Pshyco Mantis was *nothing* compared to her- this bitc-

Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes can only be played on a Nintendo GameCube. It's the remake of the first MGS.
