My score was 9 out of 10 for the genres. I had no idea what genre babymetal would be. The instruments are good but the singing grates on my last nerve. This was kind of tough though because the names of genres have changed. I had to choose what genre some would be in today instead of the genre they were in when they 1st came out. For example, Motley Crue would have just been in the genre of rock back in the day. There were really only 4 categories of rock back then. There was Classic Rock, Rock, Heavy Metal and Speed/Thrash Metal. After Speed/Thrash came a crazy amount of different types of rock/metal so some are categorized differently now than what they were when they first started.

I think only their first album would be considered power metal. Maybe the rest of the albums have groove metal elements and some thrashy elements too. But I definitely have no clue what genre to put them under which is cool.

@@kzeriar25 check out the very very first album, it was a hair metal style. Maybe some of the singing and the high notes made people see it as power metal. But thrash and groove suit them more

I listen to power metal but Pantera is not power metal, I'm disappointed. It's their album called "power metal" but it's not their genre.

@@azhardware8369 Pantera is groove metal now but back when they came out, they were just metal. Categories like black metal, groove metal, death metal, doom metal, Nu metal, etc etc didn't exist back then. Bands like Whitesnake were just rock. In 2022, they're now classic rock. Bands like Skid Row and Warrant always get thrown in as hair bands when they're not. Those are 2 underrated kick ass bands that came out when bands like Poison came out and they got labeled something they weren't. One of the 1st heavy metal bands to me is Black Sabbath. Would they be considered heavy metal today? I don't know. I've heard ppl say Led Zeppelin was a heavy metal band. They're blues rock to me. And glam metal isn't any form of metal at all in my opinion. It's all so confusing to keep up with.
