Day two of the Easter Jeep Safari was an absolute blast! We got a retry on Metal Masher (or more accurately the Jeep Safari did) and it did not disappoint.
This is one of the more scenic trails I’ve run, in addition to the general desert landscape you get to drive next to two massive cliffs with great overlooks. No worries, neither section is very technical.

When your Jeep died it may have been because it was in auto mode instead of manual. I’ve found with the 3.6L that it will up shift multiple gears at the worst time when attempting an obstacle. If we come up to any obstacle of note, I shift into manual mode 2nd gear and leave it. Off road plus mode will also help with this if you have it. Manual mode if you don’t have off road plus.

That was probably it. I do have off-road plus but am not in the habit of using it, might need to change that up.

Wonder if the engine died from the angle the jeep was at? Couldn't get fuel? But it started right back up. Weird. For a sec I thought it was a manual transmission. 😂

I’ve been on steeper for longer, so I kind of doubt that was it. My wife thought I let off the gas part of the way up and maybe that did it? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
