It warms my heart to see people like you keeping this game alive. This franchise shouldn't have died off, but it is what it is. You've earned my respect and my sub. Keep up the good childhood memories. And the content. Edit: No matter what game it appeared in, fave weapon is definitely Enemy Chaser. *Sees Dragunov with an AMR* ... It's not like I want her as a waifu, I want the rifle as the waifu, baka!

The franchise isn't dead. Sure, the newest game is a tactical rpg rather than a run and gun but that doesn't mean a more traditional game can't happen in the future. Let's hope for the best.

@@phanboy8059 There's not much to do with the game anymore if it has to be exactly the same way as the original from 96. And it already doesnt help that the sequels since MS3 are too recycled, with little new things to offer. And then the fans, who are overly attached old school players, wont accept any attempt of innovation. So in this situation it's impossible that the game doesn't die either literally or a cheap mediocre version that's even better off dead. I love MS but i wont deny the sequels consist in some of the worst kind of milking in gaming. Doing things that way only hurts the games.

Random weapon trivia: In the PS version of MSX, the grenade shot AOE was much smaller, identical to a normal grenade. Grenade shots have a massive vertical AOE in the arcade version. MS4 introduced the 2 Machine Gun. Despite two bullets coming out per shot, it counts as only one projectile each. MS5 corrected this to have two projectiles come out per shot. The laser gun didn't allow diagonal fire until MS6.

This was my favorite game of my childhood. I haven't owned a console until i got a work so playing this kind of games on arcade machines was my past time after school. Man those were simpler times, now you gotta pay games you already paid, microtransactions, gambling games (gatcha and stuff)...

Seriously though, I never obtained *Thunder Shot.* It would be insane if *Allen's rocket launcher* and Buzzsaw is obtainable too. (It's a good thing I have *Dragunov, Vicky, Romy, Allen,* and a speedrunner *Sea Dragon* yesterday)

Excelente video. Recuerdo también que en la misión 1 de MS 3 era posible conseguir la Iron Lizard y volverse gordo a la vez, por lo que las balas se volvían como las bombas caminantes similares a los cañones de el vehículo que era un robot que saltaba (no recuerdo el nombre, pero también sale en el boss de ese mismo nivel) sólo que eran de un tono rojizo en lugar de azul.

el slugoide es el k lanza las bombas k caminan, pero lei en un foro hace un millon de años k usan distinto codigo ya k las del slugoide tienen un pequeño homming o sea siguen al enemigo y las k disparas no, y un pequeño bug hacia k algunas de las del slugoide salieran al lado contrario del enemigo al k se suponia debian seguir

The Z-sword is in 5, 6 and 7 IIRC - You gotta be superclose to the enemy but it's the highest-damage weapon by a long shot

Iron Lizard is literally bomb on wheels/ ground hunters 2H Machine Gun is technically 2 SMGs held on both arms. Good for mid-ranged shootouts and assaults

A su vez también menciono las bombas de piedra y fuego, pero no menciona la variantes cuando se está transformado en zombie, está en el aire, en el espacio o en el agua. Tampico el guante que sale cuando en la misión de momias le pega con marco cuando te agachas. Y por último también recuerdo el arma de metal slug 3 que es como un francotirador, es la que está fija y tiene municiones ilimitadas y sale en la última misión en la parte del jefe militar justo antes que lo traicionen los extraterrestres.

Marco and the gang all have a knife and pistol at all times, and I consider those weapons too. However, those have unlimited uses compared to the rest of the weapons, so I consider the knife and pistol unique from all other weapons.

There are also Satellite Bomb, Many kinds of Vehicles & Submarine guns & bombs, Camel gun, Monkey gun (Metal Slug 3 - 1st stage), Prisoner Magic (Metal Slug 2 - 1st Stage), Ghost Vomit (Metal Slug 3 - 2nd Stage). ★★★ Metal Slug should add Time Bomb, Firecrackers, Arrows, Invisible power, many ghost stages like souls, vampires, zombie, Giant, night bats, insects in dark forest, grave, jungle, Horror Palace, dessert, amazan etc.
