SNK, Tencent Games, and VGA Games have conducted a new alpha test for the international English release of the latest Metal Slug game - Metal Slug Code: J / Metal Slug Awakening in Chinese. And here's the new animation intro opening from the game, enjoy!
*Alpha test for the game starts on July 21st ~ July 24th 2022
Meta Slug: Awakening, formerly known provisionally as METAL SLUG CODE: J (TBD) is a new run and gun title for iOS and Android under development by Tencent Games. New Metal Slug console game 2022, new Metal Slug game 2022, Metal Slug PS5, new Metal Slug 2022

As someone who's actually a huge metal slug fan. I will tell you this was made to milk money out of mobile users. This panders to the mobile market and a far cry from the experience OG metal slug had to offer.

I like how the events from Metal Slug 2/X and 3 were made out of a reference in a few scenes. It would be so cool for them at SNK recreate the final missions from these games. Good job for the post, Banden! Keep up the good work.

@@pigmeo8653 aún no hay fecha de lanzamiento pero esperemos sea a finales de este año o bien podría atrasarse y ser a principios del próximo año, hasta donde se ya se hacían atrasado antes ya que están mejorando la jugabilidad por mi no hay problema en seguir esperando siempre y cuando el resultado final sea de excelente calidad.

This game brings back memories of my younger days. flame throwers and rocket launchers were my favorite guns. I really disliked the heavy machine gun but you got that more often than every other gun. I'm glad this is getting a remake haha I will def buy.

Wow la verdad se rifaro con las escenas y voces que parece una pelicula se nota que se esforzado bastante en hacer esto si el juego tiene gran exito haria una pelicula con este estilo y cuente la historia de los 3 primeros juegos que bueno que subistes esto ya que llevaba 5 meses sin nada nuevo del metal slug awakening espero que lo este mejorado bastante bien 😎😎

This love and appreciation I have for these games and their updated modern graphics, fan made or otherwise. I really wish someone would do this for WWI games. Really hard to find a AAA title WWI game that looks like gold. They all look like 90’s Windows XP graphics.

Es increíble lo que logra provocar en los fans una animación impecable, que aparte en su esencia muestra un gran respeto a su propio legado. A qué me refiero? A que aquí no metieron políticas identitarias, diversidad (cambio de raza), ni demás estupideces.
