Ado is a genius. I love her music and Gira Gira is my fav Ado song. music is great and lirycs... I think at the end is not as depressing as it seems... iI think it is about self love. I mean not being selfish just value yourself. Amazing song!!

"i can't imagine if god was left handed, how happy i would be" refers to her accusing god made her as a joke (the scar on her face) not knowing that god made her to be its incarnation and infact she is loved. But when she knew that, its already too late. She smashes all of the statues of said god in that temple, deciding to become that god herself.

Finally my favourite ado song

A very beautiful song about learning how to love yourself those 2 lines about god left hands are really moving. This range of her voice is just the best, i love when she is all over the place, when she goes hig, when she screams and adds a vibrato like nothing happen at the end but this right here this range closer to her speaking voice hits different

Tho this one dosnt have much of her famous vocal gymnastics, its still a fan fav! Its beautiful. Same reason I love piano ver of usseewa over the super gritty screaming live- thats more raw but the piano ver is beautiful and more musical and more of a song not a vocal demonstration.

Man this song is so good. I don't want to comment on the lyrics too much cause I don't speak japanese and I think the subtitles are not very good, but a large part of it has to be about make-up, right? "1mg fireworks" has to be the make-up that you put on, and then you get to go shine on the world without the world knowing that you (feel that you) are ugly. Also find it quite cool that she wishes God is lefthanded, as opposed to wishing that God would have drawn her with their right hand. Speaks to acceptance of oneself.

I love singing in Japanese, something about how your K’s and G’s ending up sounding similar, or L and R being the same, mouth kinda going horizontally more than I usually do idk, something about the way it ends up making you place your tongue and mouth and throat to enunciate properly in it, the breathy onset feeling more natural idk it feels incredibly comfortable to me and I almost wish I could speak english in that relaxed state without it sounding odd

I really like this song ❤(especially the story 3:30 I’m glad you like this part,too 4:57 and “I think” the lyrics in this part is “Again~Again ~”, so I’m always confuse when I saw English lyrics said “Are you ready?”

I thought the melody was pretty melancholic from the very start. It conveys the feeling of getting tired of being constantly sad and therefore not even caring anymore. It reminds me of the people I know who are struggling with heavy depression. Definitely not upbeat or happy, at least in my interpretation

Thank you for your wonderful reaction. You mentioned the twist in the lyrics and melody. This is a very interesting point of view. Regardless of the melody, I think it's very rare to find a Japanese song that is made of 100% happness (though there aren't any such songs). I feel that a large part of the lyrics of japanese songs are basically filled with ingredients that are the opposite of happiness. The twists of our heart and the world, unreasonableness of our heart, feeling inferior to appearance, fear of aging, if there is a beginning, there is an end, even things that prosper will someday perish, etc. I think it's probably influenced from Buddhism and Japanese history. In Japan, songs are meant to express the contradictions and absurdities of life and the world. I think Western music (movies, etc.) do not make many twists like this. So I thought it wouldn't be accepted. But after seeing the reactions of some people, I'm starting to think that's not the case.
