This is my favourite song from ado, FINALLY A REACTION TO IT😁 Btw the story of this song from what i can tell is: everyone else looks like they were designed from the image of god, but she has the birthmark on her eye, saying she was made with god's left hand meant that god is right handed and made a mistake on her, in the end she saw god having a missing part where she has the birth mark exactly so she realised she wasnt made wrong, but the stress from her whole life built up and suddenly released so she destroyed god and put on the crown instead.

@@GOTGames this is why japanese music is S tier, if songs with these lyrics were sung by an american singer in english, they would barely have any recognition because its all about: sexuality, love, relationships, etc in the west... which is sad Not to mention american writing is pretty shallow in the meanings, like barely any metaphores

I don't disagree but would like to give what I saw this as. In my opinion it seems like a song about saying screw the standard, I will learn to love myself. Throughout the song she sees her flaws and tries to hold herself to the standards of this perfect being, this "God". But upon meeting them she sees the perfection is just a porcelain mask and the thing behind it is so robotic and fake, whereas behind her mask she is still human, and realises that this "God" isn't attainable. So her destroying this "God" is her saying screw what you say I should be, I'm going to be myself with all my imperfections and learn to love myself. This is part of a sort of saga of songs in my opinion. These songs are Useewa, Odo and Gira Gira. Useewa being about being herself to the point of laughing at how normal others are, to Odo being how she is unapologetically herself and gives her all towards what she wants, and finally Gira Gira about learning to be yourself even when pressured to do otherwise.

Gia Gira definitely shows off her vocal range really well, but if you want to see her take her entire vocal range to its extreme you might want to check out her cover of Crime and Punishment, that one left me absolutely speechless the first time i heard it.

_Gira Gira_ is one of those songs that I love so SO MUCH, but find myself unable to listen to regularly or on repeat because it just gets me so emotional every single time. It's truly an incredible listening experience

I know you said this song has everything from her vocal range, but personally i’d say that Gira Gira shows off about half of what she can do. If you want to hear the other half of Ado’s unbelievable voice then i’d recommend her cover of “Crime and Punishment” and her cover of “Godish”. Crime and Punishment shows just how unbelievably powerful Ado’s voice is, and Godish really shows how many different voice styles she can use. The song sounds like it’s sung by 5 different people but it’s all her

“How sad would it be if I were a mere imitation” is a fantastic line. As someone with an identity disorder, this song screams of self worth trauma, your sense of internal value replaced by how others see you, (e.g. the realm of c/ptsd, bpd, dysmorphia, dissociative disorders etc). Probably a good sign for your ability to be present and feel like you have a body that you didn’t relate tbh

Ado became my favorite singer at the moment i heard her for the first time. Her voice is simply indescribable. As you said, she can change her voice so much in such a short time, reaching fast notes that are so far from each other. It truly is for me one of the best, if no the best, singer we have out there. You shoul react to "Ibara" next, particularly my favorite song of hers, but Gira Gira is just as good.

The first time I saw this mv I was like “ wow what a beautiful, happy and uplifting song” then I watched it again and read the lyrics and almost cried. Also fyi, there are pictures of Ado out there, and if those pictures are really her, she’s very pretty, not ugly in any sense of the word.

I've been addcited to Ado since the day I learned about her and her music. I listen to her playlist at least once a day, if not multiple times a day. The range of her vocals and the range of how she can make you feel emotion in her voice is so amazing. this girl is on another level. I absolutely freaking love her vocals.

Yaaaasss. Finally!! My fav Ado song. This song is great. Instrumentation fits really well with Ado's voice. The lyrics are so good. Talking about someone who feels ugly, like "if God painted her with the wrong hand" at the start but at the end she feels more confident, that she can shine in this world. one of ado's songs that I like the most, because this song tells about a lack of self-confidence. She felt herself ugly and thought god created her with left hand. but then she realizes that she actually has the same visual as the god who created her which is the perfect form in the perspective of god. one thing disturbing me about this song is, how ado know the god's face? is that mean ado is dead already because of stress? btw, somehow i think its relate to racism too, because ado has a different appearance than most of the people around her.

I interpreted more as just general beauty standards than racism. The song feels like it's coming from the perspective of someone who feels like they are ugly compared to those around them, not just different. It feels a lot more personal and internal self-loathing than external hate.

Funny, I was just thinking about when you might react to this one. Definitely my favorite Ado song. I probably listen to it at least several times a week. Aggressive Ado is great, but there's just something that hits different about the calmer and moody vibes of this song. I also think the lyrics are the strongest of any of her songs. That line about feeling like she was drawn with god's left hand, and how happy she would be if god was actually left handed hits very deep.

FINALLYYYYYYYYYYYYYY and also, your assumption of the summary are almost correct! she despise the god because she thought they're playing some jokes on her as how she looked like (which it was ugly from her perspective) but only to discover that the god is actually very caring and gave her the looks of them (gods). the stress that pent up because of this misunderstanding drives her mad and made her crush all of the statues, making this one young lady to be the next goddess, stepping forward into the Hallway of Godhood

Another great Ado reaction!! "Gira Gira" dropped on the Valentine's day, and so I would recommend you to react to "Eien no Akuruhi (The Day after Eternity)", which dropped on the 14 of March, considered to be the white day in Japan, when you give thank-you gifts for Valentine's day.

Ado's voice is a treasure. 🙏 My favourite from her is probably Tot Musica. I just love that song and MV, but all the One Piece movie songs are just too incredible. Personally I would recommend checking out EVE too. He is pretty popular too. "Fight Song" and "Yoku" have amazing animated MVs.

Since you mentioned AmaLee I'm gonna recommend her cover of Glassy Sky from Tokyo Ghoul I'm usually not a huge fan of covers when compared to the original song but this cover is a rare case where I actually like it more than the original. The songs also just beautiful so even if you react to the original I would be happy also it's not an opening or an ending song so I'm pretty sure you haven't heard it yet.

So the writer of the music and lyrics for "Gira Gira", Teniwoha, also wrote a song for Sakamata Chloe "Paralyze". There are some similarities to "Gira Gira" in "Paralyze" that some people make jokes about the similarities. I've also heard people make jokes that someone should make a remix of the two songs together.

One of my favorite Ado songs! I love the whole line about God being left-handed. My interpretation of the song is that her saying in the beginning that maybe she was made with God's left hand is cause she thinks she was created/she was born with something wrong with her since she doesn't look like everybody else. It feels like it could be an analogy for people with illness/disability or disfigurement that could affect a person's appearance. I've heard of it in real life and even in tv shows where it's people who look different that gets looked down on cause of their looks which they have no choice in. And in the end when she saw that statue(?) of God wherein, she sees there's a hole in the left eye same as where the character in the song has some kind of mark on her, she sees that they're the same and that she'd be happy if God was left-handed because it would mean there's nothing wrong with her after all, she was just made different. The ending with the statue being destroyed and her wearing the crown is something I wasn't really sure how to think of properly. Maybe it is cause of stress but the end with her wearing ther crown I think is maybe cause as we are told in the real world (especially in religious places), we are made in the image of God and in the end of the song, she's accepted there's nothing wrong with her cause she looks like God, too.

Day 57 of recommending the Beyblade openings. There are the Japanese ones and the English ones. The English version has one opening for a generation, and that for the 1st and 2nd generation. The 3rd gen has one op for one season. But the Japanese version has multiple ops for a season in any gen. You should definitely check both versions out. I made playlists on my channel, so you don't need to search, cause in those compilations are a few off and not in the correct order. Thanks for checking out!

Ado's style is certainly quite unique. But I'd argue there is another like her, at least one that I've heard, that being the cover artist RaonLee. She's done several covers of Ado's works (including this one "Gira gira" as well as "Usseewa" and a couple of the One Piece songs), and she is very close in close in tone and capabilities as Ado herself. Not exactly of course, not to the point of being able to confuse them for one another, but she projects much the same energy in many of her covers.
