Its cool to see you check this out after hearing the full album for the first time because this is def one of the best MV's from Yorushika and like you said it encapsulates alot of the feelings you were getting already from the previous songs in the album.

nice. some things to note, why i gave up on music (the album) is all written by “amy,” the boy in this music video. while “elma” the second album is written by elma, the girl in the music video. :) and yes, its a cohesive story, a story you can follow by listening in order from the first album, why i gave up on music to the second, being elma. there is also a elmas diary and amys letters that you may wanna read if interested for more context in their story! nbuna really is built different.

In this video, the girl chases after a musician that takes his own life and laments his passing, but then takes up his guitar and goes forward with his music! Beautiful video!

Also that's why I gave up on music, basically has all the reason for this ending.

This is why the story of Amy and Elma is one of the greatest tragedies ever. My man said I’m going to die on my terms but realized later this path may not have been the right one but he was at a point he felt he could not turn back. And Elma is left to take over the music he left her even though it won’t heal her.

Always liked the amy and elma story.
