Fun fact: MAPA was actually first conceptualized on a random laundry day where Pablo just suddenly popped the question "What do you want to tell your parents?" while the group was doing their laundry in between concerts. This was when they were on tour in the Philippines way back in 2020, and they were away from each of their homes. This was revealed by the group in one of their interviews or vlogs, I believe.

It was during the pandemic , story of the song they were all tested positive, they were quarantined in one condo unit and while Pablo and Stell doing their laundry Pablo asked Stell what they want to say to their parents and that's it MAPA (short for Mama And Papa) was created. The music video is only a lyric video because it's pandemic era. After 3 years it has 100M views.

Pablo knows each of the member's vocal possibilities and writes, arranges, and produces the songs with them in mind. That's why SB19's music is so beautifully vocally layered. And each member also adds their own unique flavor to the rendition that makes it an SB19 song. You are not supposed to tell an adult to "tahan na." It's never said by a offspring to a parent. But MAPA is just something else. It is a reverse lullaby (Lataratrara). That is why it hits hard.

I just got goosebumps during the whole performance that's how good they are! This is one hell of a performance by SB19! Pablo was the one who wrote this song but with the inputs of the rest of the members...That's how they usually make their songs, Pablo always asked them their ideas that's why he always say that it's a team effort. They did this while doing their laundry when Pablo ask them what do they want to tell their parents thus the origin of this song. MAPA is a double entendre for Mama, Papa and the the other one is Map. Map in the sense that our parents is the one that guides us to the right path so that we won't get lost. This new arrangement of Mapa showcase their beautiful raw vocals. This just proved why they are called live monsters. All hail to the PPOP Kings! It was during the pandemic when all five of them were doing laundry somewhere, and Stell somehow raised the question of 'what message do you have to your parents guys?', and Pablo went to his pad & pen, and started to write the song. The group also had an input to the song somehow, and sure enough it struck a nerve though out the whole PH, and eventually the whole world followed by having their own rendition o pay homage to Pablo's creation by also singing the song with their own language / lyrics to the song.
