So I fell for The Rose back in 2019 when I heard She's in the Rain and I was hooked ever since, this band deserves so much recognition because they truly are fantastic! A little less known song they did for a tv show, is called Strangers and it's much heavier in percussion and bass line. Their newest albums lead single was Childhood and Woosung (lead vocalist) and Dojoon (main vocalist and keys) have some beautiful harmonies. So please check them out. Also as others have said, Woosung's solo work is chefs kiss I just love the color of his voice.

Hey John, thank you for checking out a truly underrated amazing band who've had several crappy deals in the past but kept on shining. Sammy/Woosung in the middle of the 3 vocalists often takes the lead (and his solo projects are brilliant) but they all have great voices. Amongst my favourites are "She's In The Rain" (potentially triggering for some people but I found it when going through something similar and it helped immensely), "Sorry" and their cover of LANY's "ILYSB". They deserve a much wider audience.

I just saw them in New York, They are AWESOME!!!! All of them sing but Wooosung and Dojoon are the main vocalists. All of them, write songs as well. Woosung has solo albums and they are fantastic. The Rose is one of my favorite Korean bands. My favorite song is Baby because that song live is a whole experience. If you are interested in other Korean bands I would suggest Onewe's Aurora and Lucy's Snooze.

I recommend checking out more of The Rose, they have a certain (beautiful) sound that most of their songs have, but then Woosung has solo stuff that sounds completely different. I recommend She’s in the rain, and beauty and the beast from the rose. And Face from Woosung. They have one other guy that sings other than Woosung, and I know his name, I just can’t remember it right now. 😂

She's In The Rain is such an amazing song. I also love Woosung's (the husky voiced singer) solo work. Face was his first single and it was so good.

I fell in love with The Rose with BABY. YT kept recommending this one live performance of it so I gave in one day. I was hooked within seconds. All 4 have great voices but Woosung and Dojoon are the main vocalists. Dojoon is the one who plays keyboard and guitar. Woosung was raised in California and you definitely get the Cali vibe from him especially in his solo music. The group had issues with their first label. While 3 members fulfilled their military requirements, Woosung released solo work and learned how the industry worked. They now have control over themselves. As soon as they were able to regroup they made the album. It’s called HEAL and is beautiful. The first release from it was Childhood and has an MV. I love everything they’ve released but BABY will always be my favorite. Black Rose is probably second but always makes me tear up. It’s hard to pinpoint their sound but it definitely gives off indie something. One of the songs on the new album reminds me a bit of an Indigo Girls song which made my indie loving heart ecstatic 🥀

Woosung (the American in the group) was interviewed by (I forget who darn it) which is how I learned about the band. He trained to become an “Idol” but burned out. Luckily the other musicians pushed him to listen to them play which is when his love for music was re-awoken. All of them have battled “the system” to create the music they want to do. The Rose in one in a small handful of bands, other than BTS, that I really love - even without hearing a large portion of their discography. I was really caught by Woosung's very unique voice (the fluttery, soulful falsetto, "dude in the middle"), check him out in "Sorry" and "ILYSB" - I Love You So Bad). I'm glad they've come out of the management complications and strife, and looking forward to much more now that they are free to be their own band. Very glad you checked them out!

Well! Personally N.Flying would be more interesting for your preference... You may check their early released Hot Potato 😂... The Rose is more sentimental.. Indie Pop.. highlight main vocalist his vocal color and tone. N.Flying is more complete as K-Band with production wise more versatile... live stage more hype...and intense.. Lucy is sentimental too but mixture instrumental (classical) FTisland is one of the famous so far as a rock band in Asia...they have been around for quite long.. YB is the most oldest rock band by far with some well known song in billboard before.. Guckkasten is a very strong characteristic rock band known for their artistic rock music. Their main vocalist probably the best of the best in kpop industry..(vocally similar to OneOkRock- Taka)

The new album is so good. BUT to do them justice you should check out an older song too. 'She's in the Rain' is iconic. For something more uplifting and fun 'Red'. Or the song that started it all for me, 'Baby'. Other songs not to be missed are 'Sorry', 'Beauty and the Beast', and 'Childhood' (the last two are newer songs, but too good not to mention). Also the live cover of LANY's "ILYSB" is just beautiful. They really are so very talented. Thank you for giving them love!
