I didn't want this one to end either. The first time I heard it... It was so pure and simple. He's not showing off - he doesn't need to do hard complicated things for ARMY. Just singing genuine feelings sweetly over gentle acoustic guitar. It's so separate from the album story, but at the same time - this was also part of his experience. The soft, simple connection with ARMY.

What makes this even more special, as if it wasn’t already, is the fact that it’s none other then Jimin in credits that’s playing the guitar. Which we even saw in Jimin ever so short pre#release showing behind the scene making if album. Also from the very first time I heard the harmonica, I couldn’t help but think of Jimin’s BT21 character Chimmy, who’s known for always playing the harmonica! 🥺🙏❤‍🔥🥰🐥

This song is pure comfort. Since BTS and Jimin specifically came into my life, everything is just better. His dancing brought me in, but their humility and love for each other and their love for us, has made me ARMY for life. 💜💜💜💜 Thank you for your reactions.

Jimin's live performance of "LIE" was my introduction to BTS. I saw the video as I was recovering from COVID; KZfaq pushed it to me bec I watch a lot of dance videos. Fell in love with Jimin's dancing & his vocals and had to know who he was. And....down the BTS rabbit hole I went. I can watch & listen to Jimin all day long. But, that being said, BTS as a group has really brought me through some very difficult times; they still do. I, too, was overcome by their humility, humanitarianism, love for each other and us, which made me ARMY for life as well. I still DO NOT understand where the haters come from. I bought Jimin's album, as I enjoy having something physical to hold onto. I stream the songs, but still love having the album. Digital sales just don't work for me. I'm glad that "LETTER" got out, but I think it's nice that it was put in there as something "special" from Jimin to those Army that purchase the physical album. 😊

I just introduced my childhood friend to them last year and let’s just say, that rabbit hole is very deep indeed. She is hooked. We are not young either. I’m 53 married 25 years. They have brought a sort of peace and happiness I didn’t even know I was missing. I laugh so much watch them together. That last Run BTS episode with Jimin covered in suds had me in stitches. 😂 I love know there are other Army’s out there like me.

Ahhhhh i'm crying again😭 Thank you Brian for reacting to this song. Jimin has a pure soul, and this is felt through the music. Bts came into my life as a great support to not break down during my recovery and becoming ARMY was the best thing that happened to me so far. I only have reasons to be proud of them💜💜💜

Not sure which part, perhaps the one at the end but Jimin got credit for playing the guitar as noted very faintly, nearly invisible lettering on the credits. Such a gorgeous song. I’d love to see an MV with him playing the guitar and singing this. 💜

Becoming Army has completely changed me too ❤ I was not this person before. My personality took a 270° turn. I started loving myself more, I started respecting myself more. These two led me to love & respect others too ❤ Also, you are right, I also don't know why Jimin thinks he's clumsy with words. He's so considerate even while posting a text message on weverse. Like he uses all the particles to complete his sentence so that they will be translated easily into other languages. A person so considerate ❤ how can He be clumsy with words 🥹

Jimin's voice in this song is extra honey like ❤ Also the song is made so beautifully.... Every element that's used in the song, be it lyrics, the instruments, the composing, the mixing, the adlibs, and every other component is used in a perfect sense and is complementing his voice a lot. About that interpretation part on: "After the time has flowed by Will we still be the same like back then when we first met" My interpretation for this part is that he is wondering if the bond between army & BTS will be the same after a long time has passed. The excitement Army has when they see them together... Will it be still the same after a long long time? Will Army still adore them after long time? Something like that... ❤

Thank you for reviewing this sweet, touching song which is specially for ARMY. I didn’t get this track as I bought the digital version. It’s so Jimin, gentle and lyrical. The punctures of him with the other guys were lovely especially the one with Hobi. It’s going to be a while before he can hug his Hobi hyung now that Hobi is in the army and then Jimin will do his service which will keep them apart longer.

as you said I did not want it to end.. his voice is so beautiful and warm it feels like a loving hug! if the translation was correct, Jimin said he started writing this song right after the 2022 Festa announcement, I guess that's the reason he uses the word clumsy.. Jiminie said he actually wrote a letter for ARMY and most of it ended up on these lyrics, after they announced their OT7 hiatus/solo activities. My favorite Face song!! I love them all and Like Crazy the best main track choice hands down, but Letter.. :< straight to the heart, can't hear it (so far) without starting to sob BUT only cause it's so beautiful, the melody too, pls so beautiful!! Jiminie and Kookie both delivered it amazingly and ofc, those lyrics!!!!!!!

Thanks, Bryan, for sharing this with us today. You know, I did buy a newer car and I made sure it has a CD player in it. 🙂 It's at least 1.5? min after the last song on Face, but it is so worth the wait. I know he said it's for ARMY, but to me, it seems mostly to the members. As it should be. I just enjoy that harmonica (of all things!) and think of family and friends who I can share these words with.

Jimin's voice is so smooth and comfortable that it makes me feel relaxed and gives me a sense of peace and happiness that I can't describe. I adore this jewel of a song. He's singing so gently, and the words are so warm and loving. It's beautiful. I also really like having JK on harmonies. As for becoming ARMY, I find that my self-loathing has decreased a great deal since I really dove into the BTS purple ocean. They're precious souls, and I wonder if they even know how much they've helped us. BTW, Jimin is credited with guitar on this song.

Letter reads exactly like a love letter. The interview he did on AERA magazine actually points to him writing it for Jungkook and BTS rather than only just for ARMY
