I'm so glad you liked this!!! Just a fun fact, Taylor's lead guitarist is called Paul Sidoti and has been playing with her at almost every show since 2006 when she started out!!! This was just a version of the song for the tour that isn't available on streaming, it's normally much more pop. The "we" is generally accepted to be the same guy as all too well, Jakey G himself 👀

It's said that she wrote this (original pop version) because Jake Gyllenhaal (👿) has said he didn't like pop music, so she wrote the most annoyingly pop song she could, knowing that he would have to hear it everywhere. I do love me some petty Taylor. 🤣🤣

Whenever I watch this, that crowd gets me EVERY time... instant tears. And YES that's the thing about Taylor... she sounds amazing live. People used to say she was lip syncing but NOPE

Omg when I tell you I clicked SO fast when I saw you uploaded this. This is the reason Swifties are literally shrieking for Tayor to do a rock album. She is so overwhelmingly versatile it is hard to even process. She has said she makes her songs with the story and meaning in mind, so that she always can do whatever production she wants over it and have it be a song her fans love. Taylor was in the studio working on a song with her producer friends Jack and Aaron. When suddenly one of the workers jumped in to inform Taylor that Gyllenhaal was sending her another message. That's when she got upset "No! We're never ever getting back together" and she started working on that song instead. They finished it shortly afterwards
