'Da Da Dance' is quite possibly the most poppy of their songs so far - it is a bit too 'dancey' for my own tastes, but it is still a good song and got everybody bouncing at the start of the shows in the most recent tour. Tak Matsumoto provided the guitar solo - he is the guitarist with the biggest ever band in Japan and is hugely famous there. I think he is a grammy winner too. He has not (yet) appeared with them at a live show - they have a few featured artists on this album but so far only F Hero, a rapper from Thailand, has been able to perform live with them. Joakim Broden of Sabaton appears in the video on the big screen behind them in live shows when they sing the song where he provided guest vocals. This video has the studio audio but was filmed at the Forum in LA in October 2019 (octagonal stage) and Osaka Jo Hall in Japan in November 2019 (big triangular stage). As it was from two different shows it also has two of the three 'Avengers' (the girls who take turns to dance in the third spot through 2019 and 2020 Riho and Momoko) in the video with Su and Moa. Moa was 20, Su was 21 in this video.

Good reaction! Yes, the concept of their last album (Metal Galaxy) is a travel through space visiting different planets and catching all their different flavors of metal. So you get even more completely different sounds than in the previous two albums. From EDM like this one to indian influences (Shanti Shanti Shanti), scandinavian folk metal (Oh Majinai) or even latino sounds (Night Night Burn). It's really a journey! The "rap" part is actually Moa, Tak Matsumoto is a japanese guitar legend and he plays the solo during the breawkdown. Kitsune up!

I didn't love this song on first listen because it was more 'dancey' than I'm used to. But it only took a couple of listens to really grow on me. Moa has just turned 21, and she has absolutely grown into a beautiful young woman. I would say she is one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen, and I don’t even think I‘m blinded by bias. And she did sing that Rap part, although to be honest, I think her voice is barely recognizable. The song is one of the most poppy, and certainly the most dancey one. The latest album as a whole is relatively poppy, but it’s still Metal. They are still staying true to themselves, you still won’t find two similar songs. Every song takes cues from different influences, this time it was 90s (?) Dance music. Needless to say, all of them are good!

Off you had the voice and talent of SU METAL why would you want to confine yourself to just one sound. NIGHTWISH, BABY METAL AND BAND MAID are the three best bands in the world right now and part of the reason for that is they all have great singers. When you think that SU,METAL has been singing for this band for ten years and is still only about 23years old you Can begin to process the greatness you are looking at. No it is not spanish, just japanese. But it is not strange that it sounds similar to you. I'm spanish and I also can speak some japanese (and chinese and english of course), and surprisingly for japanese and spanish prosody and phonetics sound really similar. It doesn't happen with other language, for example for chinese I had to learn to make a lot of new sounds for consonants and vocals (and let's not speak about chinese tones). But japanese and spanish, sound really really similar to the ear even if they do not have any relation between themselves, same consonants, same vocals, same prosody (music of the language). Da Da Dance is one of the most pop songs of the band. It is actually merging heavy metal and eurobeat, that's a japanese musical style from the late 90s/early 2000s inspired by european pop music from the 90s but made their own thing.
