I have a bass-enhanced, bass-and-drums-only, and other mixes of this and other Metallica songs on my channel. Cliff's bass was very undermixed on the albums :(

+maksphoto78 Well the entire track sounds terrible. xD You can't blame anyone for that though, they were at the limitations of what they could do with a cassette tape, so their music suffered greatly due to this. They just never re-recorded it... :/

imglidinhere I dont understand why you say that. Records in the 80s were not recorded in cassette tapes in the studio. If you will please explain what do you mean. The sound of this record It's just many rock and heavy metal band producers didnt want the bass too loud back then, which is a pity.

The problem is with anything Death related, you can't exactly get the individual recordings for each instrument sadly. You'd have to make them yourself

Ride the luhtning was out of tune... if you try to play in 440 Hz tuning while listening to the tracks, you'll notice it's somewhat sharp.

Just be warned. This track is out of standard guitar tune. Its not E. Its not Eb. Its something in between. and everything sounds out of tune. i switched to another track that was in E.
