Same story here. Was introduced to them by my brother with the Ride the Lightning album when I was just a kid. Fell in love with the music from the start. Brother passed this last January but I brought his ashes with me to the show in a necklace and we got to watch them live for the 1st time together. They played so much of the Ride the Lightning album that I was practically sobbing with tears of joy bc it felt like an unofficial tribute to my brother. I only wish I could tell Metallica, in person, how much it meant to me.

What year? I saw them in 92 or 93. Unfortunately it was an area. No pit. Now Mr Bungle in 91 was awesome in a small club! Pit was fire 🔥 Slayer was was awesome too in 94 pit was 🔥 Obituary in 92 was🔥. Miss those high school days.

Great song. My wife and I were there, drove in from Buffalo. Great show, great city, great venue. These guys still bring it every time, since first seeing them back in 1989. They are having just as much fun playing as us fans are enjoying the experience.

It was awesome seeing you guys in Detroit!!! Very glad I got tickets for both nights!! Took my 15yr old nephew for his first concert on Night 1 (We lost his Mom 3 years ago and he coped by listening to his favorite band Metallica) and we both had the absolute best time of our lives!! Loved watching him go through the whole experience!! I'll never forget it!! Thanks a million @Metallica 👏👏🤘🤘💙💙

This was the highlight of the 2nd night in Detroit for me, can relate SO MUCH to this song!!! Was there with my son both days that weekend in the D and that lil guy that used to rock out to St .Anger with me just had his 1st child a couple months ago. Metallica growing right along with my family, hope his passes on what he's learned to that sweet lil girl❤
