@Wesley Van Den Berg most bands start by writing a cool rhythm and building around, mettalica start with them and the crowd screaming temptation and build around that😂

People forget, whenever they moan about the new stuff "not being as good as the classics" is that those songs were transformed into legendary status through their live performances. I never used to like Orion (I know, terrible of me!) until I saw it live, at which point the song made so much more sense and became transformed with each listen.

What’s more impressive is that they play a different set list every night compared to other bands that play the same songs every set. It’s much more of a challenge to do that. Some other bands may have better musicians but it’s easy to play the same thing over and over.

Great performance, top notch. The guys are 60 and still kicking ass. Lars has been playing at a high level, he might not be the most technical drummer, but has lots of energy, great vibe and stage presence.

Omg this is just so amazing. I'm a country kid and write country music but Metallica has been my favorite band since I as 6 and stole my ol man's Ride The Lightning album from his Metallica collection. I have "Made In Montana" tattooed on my arm in Metallica lettering😂❤ The most kick ass band of all time since Johnny Cash man. Fo SHO!

I wonder if people actually think Lars is a bad drummer, or if they're just saying it because that's what people have been saying for years since he stopped being in his prime? stop saying "he only sounds good because of editing" literally listen to any live recording that's posted off a phone, what you hear in the official videos matches up to what you're hearing live if you're there. it's not editing, Lars has actually gotten better the dude's 60 years old, and I don't wanna hear "other drummers his age do way better than him" not everyone is exactly the same. people just can't do what they used to after a certain age, we all know Lars simply cant play for example, Dyers Eve, he's not in his prime anymore. now stop crying when you hear Lars actually playing more than decently, and just accept that he's not a bad drummer

Thats a heavy fkn Metallica intro, a great song from the album. The Metallica intro is a reason I got into the band from back in the day. No other bands had so many kick ass intros to their songs like Metallica did. Almost 40 years now and I love the band, always will.
