I was 16 or 17 when this song came out and man... lemme tell you what... I was *obsessed* with it. I'd never heard anything like it before and it still slaps, even 24 years later.

Pinnacle of Music….period 🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥. The whole concert is 🔥🔥🔥….and 20 years later in 2019 they did another two concerts with SF Symphony…..just otherworldly

"No leaf clover" and "- Human" were composed in collaboration with Michael Kamen (composer/conductor), especially for S&M.

Easily my biggest music privilege was seeing this show live....I camped out for 24 hours to get tickets, & got lucky as hell (the building only held 2500 people). So glad you guys are reacting to it, what a special show...

No Leaf Clover was written especially for this collab with the SFO Orchestra. It was orchestrated by Michael Camen, who can be seen conducting the orchestra. Metallica have played this in concerts without orchestra also. But you can hear James saying "That was a brand new one for y'all" or something similar - so I think this song was played for the first time with that orchestra.

Hey Jody, should definitely check out For Whom the Bell Tolls from this album/show. It's epic, and you can hear all the subtle guitar sounds that can be heard on the original album version.

Nice reaction! They did make a soundtrack for a movie "Mission Impossible 2". Pretty cool single and video also. It is called "I Disappear".

Oh btw.. yes there are other renditions of this without the symphony.. but they are played live at concerts.. on Metallicas website you can buy the CD or digital of the concert you went to (for recent concerts) .. in 2021 they played this song their first night in Kentucky.. I was so stoked to hear it live.. good stuff.
