Heh, I remember working at GC years ago and heard countless playing the solo to One with the amp cranked to 11 and somehow, every single time, they play it wrong. Yeah, this happened at lest once or twice a day.

I was there , he was the only one playing all the concert without mistakes he was playing very good and singing like a god , the others (lars and kirk) weren't prepared for it or something they suck ... Maybe you are right!

@@rbolwell he only needs that one to play sad but true because it's basically the "only" song they play in D straight... They barely play Magnetic stuff or other songs that require such tuning, so 1 guitar would be enough if those accidents didn't happen... They mostly play on E or half step 🤷 Basically some guitars are used to specific songs. For example, Kirk most of the time uses his Jackson RR to play Sad but True and the red ESP V to play the day that never comes...

I like Load and Reload. Hated both when they came out as a fan of their heavier early stuff, they deffo went through the pretentious stage with those albums. Still some good tracks on them though.
