I remember my Dad taking me to see Metallica New Year's Day 2000. He was hoping they'd play Whiskey In The Jar. I told him they probably won't. Well, they did and he had the biggest smile on his face! Great memories!

And now, 22 years later, same happened to me and my girlfriend. On the way to the show in Curitiba, we were talking about how we wanted to hear Whiskey so bad but they weren't playing it on previous shows, suddenly, they start playing it. Totally unexpected, we had the biggest smiles too!

I saw the show just four days after that one, the only Metallica concert I've seen so far. I don't remember too much except the feeling, energy, and people I was with.

Perdi minha mãe 2 meses antes desse show. No dia, fiquei pensando se eu deveria ir, ai lembrei que ela sempre me disse: "Filho o que importa são os bons momentos". Fui no show e em diversos momentos lembrei dela e disse mentalmente "Mãe to tendo bons momentos aqui". Foi um show incrivel. Ganhei energia pra seguir em frente.

Quando eu era criança ouvia as músicas deles em um rádio de pilha velho, meus pais eram muito humildes, não tinhamos nem TV em casa, morava no interior , quando eu estava na fila ouvi galera falar whiskey in the gar não vai tocar, eu pensei vai sim , queria muito ver, na hora que tocou chorei pulei gritei , o ROCK faz parte da minha vida , essa data vai viver estar em minha memória para sempre .OBRIGADO METALLICA foi incrível.

That change at 4:10 took me by surprise! I was suddenly overcome with emotion. Silly thoughts along the lines of ‘these guys aren’t going to be around forever…’ Music is such a powerful thing, and it’s there for people through all their highs and lows in life. Metallica has been there for me through all the good times, and the bad times too. For that I’m eternally grateful James🖤Lars🖤Kirk🖤Robert🖤Jason🖤Cliff🖤 …thank you 🤟🏼

Curitiba é foda no cenário Rock 'n Roll, Set conhecido do Metallica são todas as músicas aqui... Modinha tinham em todos os estádios... Meu vinil do Master of Puppets derreteu uma camada de ouvir... Aqui é rock na veia!!!

O mesmo que falei pra mim mesma que um dia, eu iria conhecer pessoalmente os irmãos HANSON e 3 anos depois (2013), me vi junto com eles em uma foto coletiva com outr@s fãs 😂❤. Ano passado, eu fui no dos RHCP, outra banda que faz parte da minha vida e agora tô querendo dobrar a minha meta de ir no show do Metallica ou Iron Maiden. Se me der a louca, vou nos 2 logo 😂😂.

Começou essa música, eu não sabia se pulava, cantar foi difícil, pois deu um nó na garganta, e lágrimas escorregam, pois é o som que mais curto, fechei os olhos e enquanto ouvia, lembrei das festas na juventude, meus amigos, foi foda, a melhor noite , 2 anos de espera, que valeu cada dia, e sem contar o coro em The Memory Remains.

Cara, Essa música foi uma das primeiras que conheci deles. Eu comprei o ingresso no dia paguei uma fortuna para ficar na arquibancada, mas valeu a pena. Uma coisa é certeza, todo turnê pelo Brasil eles vão vir para CWB, pelo povo curitibano e também pelo fato de nascer uma criança bem na hora.

Já fui em 3 deles, não fui no Brasil, mas sim é sempre insano, não é o show que foi fora curva a banda é fora da curva e o incrível é que os caras melhoram com o tempo.

@@philippekuster por que é outra das músicas que explodiu nas rádios e MTV após 1996. Toca Battery, Whiplash, Fight Fire e 80% do público parado com cara de bunda sem entender nada. Toca Sandman, Nothing Else Matters, Sad But True, Whiskey, Unforgiven plateia pira e fala esse papo de melhor show da vida. Mas tudo e festa e importante todos se divertirem a sua maneira.

Meu pai foi no show, ele que não é tão fã de metal, mas gosta muito de Metallica. Antes do show, ele falou que queria ouvir Whiskey... falei pra ele que seria difícil, pois normalmente é só um cover por show, e não é uma música tão frequente. E tocou... e que show foda! Irretocável do início ao fim! James tocando e cantando pra caralho!

2 anos de espera...ingressos nas mãos (minha mulher e eu) rezando para ficarmos vivos diante da covid, que veio... superamos, ficamos vivos... ingressos grudados na porta da geladeira... olhávamos e, finalmente o dia da felicidade chegou!!! Sob 12 graus celsius deu até calor. 100SACIONAL. Metallica's member.
