The first Smiths album always does it for me. It’s their best album. I don’t care what anyone says.

I was just 16 when the meat is murder cassette cover caught my eye. Had no idea what it would sound like but I bought it. Most people I know tell me I turned them on to the smiths. I lived for any new albums. It became Morrissey and I followed that sound. Happiness is listening to this man sing no matter how sad it can get.

Have always thought this song is a bit of a hidden Smiths gem. The oficial version, however, has such an understated production... This bootleg version does it more justice. And the lyrics seem to be easier to understand (i am not a native English speaker).

I think Morrissey would've been a great dad. I read in a 2009-ish interview he mentioned something like he chose to not have a child because he feared his child would end up emotionally supporting him rather than the other way around. Very insightful remark for us to observe more into his inner self

The only difference I can tell from the original is that the acoustic guitar strumming is totally absent, it's way more base-heavy, and the vocals are more prominent. I don't think it's any slower or anything.
