I remember Dave Mustaine talking about playing with Cradle of Filth, and Dani got Dave’s kid coloring books and crayons to mend their public rift. He’s a classy dude.

I was a BIG fan of COF in the early days. Still today I listen to that first album and I can't believe how someone could come up with such a thing back in the days (I was a teen then). Its a masterpiece, along with some others that followed.

The way he talked about Paul Allender, who wrote Cradle's foundational and best material (minus Cruelty, which was all Stuart) is extremely cold. The dude created the Cradle sound, wrote Principle, V Empire, Dusk and Midian (not even mentioning what came after), stayed in the band longer than anyone else except Dani, and Dani talks about him like he was nothing and easily replaceable. He won't even mention his name...

I love that my hometown of Dewsbury gets a mention. Cradle of Filth are probably the least evil thing associated with the town 😆

He seems so nice, not evil att all, but i am not surpriced, when i go to metalplaces 95% are nice, in mainstream places maximum 50% are nice. Sorry if my english is bad.

They never got much credit for their first handful of albums, they used to be genuinely really great. I think it was that Thornography album that ruined their reputation, I just remember everyone falling off around then.

Dani is just an absolutely likeable, cool guy. I'll never forget seeing Cradle of Filth for the first time in a very small youth center in Germany. They were completely unknown back then. Still, it was cool. You deserved the success.

Dani is one of the greatest poets that have every existed. Change my mind.

He's a lot more down to earth than I expected, but I was into CoF back in my teenage years and probably read too much into it.

I literally got an A on an English paper in ‘09 talking about Danny’s writing style. I would love to read anything he authored. I hope he does write when Cradle calls it, I’ll have that ish preordered.
