Metro Board calls for more law enforcement to address recent spike in violent crime

When you see cops at any event like Dodgers stadium, Lakers game, SoFi, the NY subways they stand around in groups talking to each other. They rarely walk around, they stand in groups two all the way up to 10 to 15 like I have seen at games.

When you see State/County/City leaders doing nothing to prevent criminals and mentally ill from being on the streets, these are the types of crimes you get! It ALL starts from the top! If you say that cops are 'standing around and talking' or 'doing nothing'.....who's FAULT is that? If the higher ups(leaders) aren't saying or doing anything to the cops, then what does THAT tell you?

What about the idiots that climbed onto the Blue Line train this morning as it was approaching the Historic Broadway Station? I was late to work because of them. Had to walk along the tunnel to get to the platform in order to wait for the train going to 7th St Metro Station. Then I had to wait for the next train going southbound towards Long Beach.

Yes, we need a signal in the phones or wifi ,also more security on the weekends. I ride the E line, and almost every day, there are homeless or drogadicts causing dramas plus some people smoking inside the trains. They should not allow dirty people in the trains that use it as a toilet. Visit the elevators at the western station smells like a public bathroom so gross 😝

The mayor in LA is a Democrat. Of the fifteen city council members 14 are Democrats and 1 is an independent. The Police Chief is hired by city leadership. The DA is a Democrat. The AG is a Democrat. The issues LA is having are not racial. They are cultural, and are nurtured by the Democratic Party. The most recent Republican mayor of LA served from 1993-2001.

True story, I saw a man get murdered, literally beaten to death at a gas station right beside a metro bus stop just a few months ago at 6am. LA is just going full on Gotham nowadays. People need to vote for new leadership in this city because the people in charge now are terrible.
