Brotherhood of steel vs an army of railroad guys in a nutshell

This mission is interesting due to the context of it in my opinion. Before this battle the Reich and the Red Line had signed a truce to end the conflict in the metro and focus on the D6 conference. Korbut of course has his own plans but that also includes a plan to destroy both the Rangers and the Reich. So while this battle is occuring so is the battle at D6 and both end up as disastrous defeats for the Red Line which as far as I can see from Metro Exodus is likely no longer a major force in the Metro.

Finally, a game where you can play the good guys.

For anyone stuck on the tank!!!: turn hitmarkers on. use the grenade launcher and shoot above the tank when there is steam coming out the top of it. after trying and failing multiple times, this method worked the first time for me

Managed to beat it on hardcore. Epic stuff. That triumphant feel you get when you stand over the bodies of your enemies, proudly wielding the minigun.

Fun Fact: The nazis in this game arent Germans but instead they are russians who "borrowed" the fascist ideology and try to speak in a germanic accent.

Why is it that every time I disable the tank's wheels...THE NEXT ROCKET IT LAUNCHES ALWAYS GETS ME IN ONE FUCKING HIT!?

I don’t understand how people literally stand in the open in every game and just destroy everything and then I get out of cover for half a second and My entire screen is just blood then I take cover again and I die anyway

The annoying part is the constantly respawning snipers

got to the same part... shooting bombs at it. and even though. the last second I'll get a rocket to the face, even when im in cover. it happened AT LEAST 8 times. and I'm just done.

Tank was bullshit. Thank god this dlc was bundled with redux. I was enjoying this game until this dlc

I play this mission as a stress reliever just mowing away at the reds only wish you could get the grenade launcher sooner though

yeah, i died so many times from the damn tank because i kept trying to use the rail gun and gatling gun. finally beat it using the grenade launcher. just aim high, shoot three times, duck in cover to the right when reloading, and repeat.

I probably used more medkits in this level than I did in the entire main game. This mission in Ranger Hardcore is just miserable.

It is if you overdose yourself on those medkits, like 2 injections every time you retreat. But yeah, in the end it's a game of odds not to get hit by that rocket. TT_TT

This is my least favorite of the three missions in the Faction Pack, mainly because of the tank at the end. The Red Line mission was good for me, as I love sniping, and I loved the Kshatriya one as well, because I like exploring. I liked this Reich mission up until the tank. Haven't beaten the fucker yet, and I'm on the easiest difficulty. Does that mean I suck? Or is the tank just a bitch?

I hated this part of the DLC so much. The weapons were a HUGE disappointment for me, and it was just abunch of explosions and green lasers. I had no fun whatsoever on this one.

On Ranger mode it only lets you have The first two guns you pick up so the grenade launcher de sbonds so you can't be the DLC

This mission is terrible. The first phase of the battle with the chaingun against the waves of enemies isnt too bad but if you dont reload your weapon during the cooldown between the first and second wave you're gonna run out during the assault and reloading then is nearly impossible due to the very limited cover, constant enemy fire and the slow reload time of the chaingun (I swear enemies can shoot you through cover as well which is ridiculous). The second phase where you are tasked in dealing with the snipers is where everything starts to go to hell. Despite the chaotic nature of the fight with all the muzzleflashes, smoke, explosions, etc. the snipers always know where you are and they shoot the player with pinpoint precision. You can even see them coming out of their spawnpoints sometimes already pointing their snipers at you the instant they come out. Another issue here is your useless companions who tend to get out of cover and pretend they are useful by shooting at the air while blocking your view of the snipers which is unbelievably annoying. Third phase against the armored chaingunner, the shield platoon and the snipers is also pretty aggravating. Killing the shield guys while dealing with everyone shooting you through cover with the screen convulsing constantly and covered in filters is simply not fun. The final phase against the tank was probably the least cumbersome of them all though that's not to say this sequence doesnt have any problems. Those bloody snipers finally bugger off and you're given a grenade launcher to deal with the armored vehicle. Unfortunely, and just like with the snipers, this tank has pinpoint precision and from time to time will shoot you with a random rocket that is nearly impossible to avoid. Thankfully it doesnt take long for the panzer to go down, and after ten grenades or so the job is finally done. The idea behind this DLC is actually pretty neat, but the execution is just awful garbage. Getting killed constantly by enemies you cant even see, your companions offering absolutely nothing other than shitty oneliners and covering your view, the screen shaking and covered in filters all the time, etc. I assume the developers didint even bother playtesting this on Ranger Hardcore because otherwise I just cannot comprehend how they thought this was remotely playable. To sum this mission up, It's a very tiring and unfun experience and im certainly never going to replay it again.

hi l'v got the game on disc 2 games on one disc metro 2033 & metro last light redux been trying to get the last two trophys called hail reich trophy and the test complete trophy but for some reason when l try to load up the chapter the option to pick heavy squad not showing like the youtube video to unlock this chapter from the start witch difficulty from the start of the game do l need to put it on

What pisses me off is that it keeps on loading me to this mission when I just want to play the fing campaign......

Lol the tank is really easy to destroy, you just have to shoot it with that grenade launcher you get from one of your team mates.
