I've waited so long for this! I'm so excited for next year, Metroid is my favourite video game series ever, and the Prime games are my favourite entries in that series!

Metroid is easily Nintendo's best & most consistent franchise of all time! I desperately need Prime 3 on Switch cause I never had a Wii. I've played pretty much everything else.

I doubt you'll need to play the whole trilogy before 4. The bulk of Prime's ongoing story was wrapped up at end of 3, so 4 is starting pretty much fresh. Though checking out Prime 1 Remastered certainly couldn't hurt.

You know exactly which people dont play Metroid :D As soon as "GALACTIC FEDERATION" was on the screen it was clear :D even the sound here 0:22 gave us a big hint because this is the usual soundeffect when something is typed on the screen :)

The second I heard the sound and saw green text my jaw dropped and I gasped, and def knew right away it was 4. Hopefully they still drop the 2&3 remasters before 4 releases as well I would love that

I should really get more into this series... Metroid is one of those game-series i really like the whole idea/style/world/story of, but have never really gotten into myself. I played a bit of the original one, i played about half of Super Metroid, i actually DID finish Fusion and i started the first Prime on the GameCube a couple of times, but the most i've gotten through it was about halfway, but i never finished it (because i didn't own the game myself, i always just borrowed it, but never for long enough to get through it and in between the times i'd borrow it i often ended up having to clear space on my memory card and the Metroid-save always fell victim to that).

Well, the two best games in the series are on Switch. Prime Remastered and Dread. Start with those, and go from there.

@@alibabaschultz352 I know, yeah. Just gotta finde the time. And i'm pretty sure most of the games are on the Switch, at least with Nintendo Online. except Prime 2 and 3.

@@shadowcat1606 For sure. Zero Mission from GBA is also a great place to start. Its probably the shortest and most forgiving game in the series.

The Metroid Prime games are not necessarily connected to each other. They’re canonically in order, like she goes from prime 1-4, but the stories and lore between each game do not really intersect much. You could play them in any order really

The games are mostly self contained, but there's very much an ongoing storyline with Phazon and Dark Samus. That said, those probably won't factor into 4's story.

I disagree, I think it's much more enjoyable to actually take the time to hear their thoughts on a single game, rather than just rushing through them all.

Isn't the recommendation for videos that are monetized to be about 10-12 minutes? Maybe they do this so people can just pick the reactions they want to see and don't have to sit through trailers of games they don't care about. Plus, it helps create a steady flow of new videos. One or two short reactions per day instead of one long one once a week.
