Great video. Finally a chance to see them running at track speed. I know a lot of railfans aren't too keen on the horns these things have, but I kinda like it on this clip. A bit raspy, it gives it character. Great engine sound as well!

Mistakenly stopped at San Juan Capistrano once, and while waiting for the next train to San Clemente I encountered a test train like this one, although I was surprised to see a non-converted Bombardier old cab car trailing, nothing else. No Rotem, no f125. Just a Bombardier Cab car. Edit: if anyone has seen similar Metrolink trains, please let me know
