For god sake we are in 2016 and heard Metronomy for the first time. Where I was until now?

Lenox Hill, a documentary about doctors brought me here. This played at the end and I can’t ever explain how I felt listening to it for the first time.

My Dad used to listen to this when it came out. I heard my younger sister playing this in her car and had to know what it was. Here I am.

I'm Asian and 2years ago I met a Lithuanian friend online and she recommended this band to me. This was the first song I listened and I wasn't disappointed. And then I loved this band so much ever since and until now. I will always remember her everytime I listen to this.

I remember seeing this video for the first time. I was beyond high as fuck at a friends place and had just hit the bong. All 4 of us were laying on couches and watching music videos, unable to even talk. Then this video came and it blew my mind. Because I was scared to forget the name of the group and the song I somehow managed to write it up on a piece of paper and put it in my stoner bag. A few months later whilst sorting it out this piece of paper fell out all crumbled up. I was about to throw it away but unfolded it out of interest. Then I remembered and instantly rewatched this video on my PC. This was 4 years ago and since then I'm a big fan of this group and I finally got to see them live in Heidelberg last year. I can only recommend to go see them if they come near your town, it was great :) 2022 edit since there are still comments coming in: I don't smoke anymore, but man do I love this band more than ever. Used to get served by this guy in Brighton HMV, he always used to compliment my choice of DVD (i was going through and international art house phase). A genuinely nice bloke and great musician.

God tier mixing. I played this video off my bluetooth in my car, off my luxury sound system, and finally off my headphones. It is uncanny how well mixed this is. What makes this perfect is that the song is also a gem. Every instrument has a unique presence - that crank ratchet is deliciously mixed in and kept subtle throughout. The use of the acoustic guitar chords for those "oompf" accents/impacts... Just ~~~~~aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah😇~ This is music at its finest, folks. You know about tears of happiness? god these guys were so good live. The first time I ever heard of them, or heard them, was when they opened for Coldplay in Seattle. Fell in love immediately. They're so unique, and are a really class band. Plus the bassist is really cool, how he remains so stoic.
